Do you like starting with body armour?

I remember in GTA IV you didn't start with it , and that sucked because I would just seek it out anyway. I like that you start with it in TBoGT, except on the first life I think.

I prefer this, but the body armour is only available straightaway is because of Luis' storyline. When Niko came straight off the boat he was not expecting to be going into gun battles, he thought he was looking for a new life in the Land of Opportunity.

Yes I too liked the fact that you received body armour straight away in TBOGT.

Cool topic bro whatsthat.gif

Yeah I like it I never dug starting missions all over again. In IV you don't start with armor because the game starts off slow. TBoGT starts you off with harder missions because there really is no point in doing simple errands and starting off easy again.

It would be strange to start without a body armor in TLAD & TBOGT, because u are not new anymore to Liberty, so aren't they. In IV it's normal to start without a body armor, because Niko is new to Liberty, so is the player.

........ so it depends, if the character is new to a city or he lived there for years.

I'm not talking about the Story I'm talking about online.

yeah i thought the op was talking about online also.

i prefer not to start with body armour but headshots soon make easy work of it,

The one thing i like most about online tbogt is that you get money for assisting kills. that is a very good feature.

Oh my bad. In that case I think like bigger weapons you should have to seek out the armor, but mind you I also hate close respawn. I always go shopping after I respawn or start a game. It not quite like a 1st person shooter, so it's kinda cool acquiring your own arsenal and armor.

I don't play much multiplayer, but I do suppose it's a good thing to have it when you spawn (along with infinite parachutes). In single player it's very convenient, in the original IV I always got tired of seeking down body armour before a mission.

I didn't even know there was such thing as armor in the original IV until a couple of missions later.

You can find body armor from the start of IV if you know where to look, but some may consider that cheating.

Free pick-ups rule! but aren't usually necessary

...and yes i love to start with full armor (just incase, you know), but if it is close to full there is never any need to top up.
