bench.

Pete Pearl: Welcome to Vice son!

Dean: (Laughs) yeah, well. It's been a bumpy ride.

Dean looks up to see Pete walking across the road smiling, he hangs up the phone.

Dean: Pa!

Pete: Son!

They run up to each other and hug.

Pete: It's been too long!

Dean: Your looking good!

Pete: Thank you. Shall we?

Pete leads Dean the way across the road and over to the car park to see a fat, sweaty man sitting in the back seat of

the car.

Dean whispers..

Dean: Who the fu*ck is that?

Pete: A friend....

Pete rolls his eyes.

Pete: Dean, Umberto, Umberto, Dean.

Umberto looks up and smiles.

Dean: Nice to meet you.

Umberto: This kid looks solid!

Dean laughs.

Dean: You don't look too bad yourself!

Umberto: Solid and funny!

Dean enters the car.

Pete: Can you drive? It's been a messed up day today.

Dean: sure.

You drive to Pete's house. South Beach, "The Muggle Hotel".

Umberto makes a strange statement on the way home.

Umberto: This kid would have big Cojones!

Dean: Yeah, well. I don't really know what your talking bout'.

Mission Complete!

Reward: $10 bucks and a new life!

The story is pretty weak, no offense.

Including characters from the III era is a bad idea. Unless you intended this to be a III era game, which wouldn't make a lot of sense...

Victor Vance was killed at the beginning of the original Vice City. How would he be able to appear in this?

IMO, Vic Vance never really died. I never heard any proof that, that was Vic?

@akavari112, the characters are in this because this is the DLC for Vice City.

Have a look, Pete dies!

I will fix that mistake

No offense but this topic is almost nothing. You must learn some 3 era history.Tommy Vercetti was in prison 1982.Lance Vance died in 1986 so he was alive in 1982 he couldnt die.If Phil Cassidy has a son then his son must have appeared in GTA VCS.

and even more mistakes.

This add-on is total mess.

If the game is set in 1982 then Tommy is still in prison in Liberty City, so he doesn't meet Ken Rosenberg yet. Phil Cassidy never had a son, Vic is still in the army, and I highly doubt if Kent Paul was in VC in 1982.

If the game takes place after Vice City, Vic is dead and Kent Paul probably went back to England.

Main character got 11 years sentence for murder of 48 people? C'mon.

You should think more about story and characters occuring in the game.

This seems like a very weak and flabby concept.

By the way, Victor Vance was killed in 1986, during the drug deal with Tommy Vercetti. He was shot by Diaz's gunmen.

We could just pretend it's Pete ( colgate.gif ) But I wish they could've not made it Vic, I mean he doesn't die very easily from a few gunshots in VCS.

Dean went on a killing spree with his gang, murdered 48 people and got a 11 year sentence? Okay, so...

1. Why did they kill those people? Gangs don't just go around killing people for fun. That's suicide.

2. They could never blame it on him and get away with it. Killing 48 people could not go without witnesses.

3. Dean would get awarded with a death row or at least life in prison. If you said 40 years, then it could be done, but 11 years? Nah.

4. Maybe in IYO Vic never died, but Rockstar CONFIRMED his death, so he's dead.

I'm fixing up the killing spree and adding a reason.

The year was the same year right from the very start (around 1991-92).

I can fight against my reason my Vic survived:

When 'Vic' was shown in VC, he was much different with his accent. He was also

a lot taller as well in VC while in VCS, he was short.

Although, his accent was followed up by his father culture which I will mentioned after.

Vic got the money back for Pete after killing everyone. At the end of VCS he explained that he had

been finished in the drug/criminal business while Lance didn't agree and stayed in Vice while

Vic would of left to who knows were.

When Ken Rosenberg explained, 2 Vance's run this town in VC. He was refereeing to to Lance and Pete.

After all, Vic left Vice City. He always went with his word.

That's why in VCS, they made Vic like what he is/was. If they wanted him to die, they would of made him look like

he was in VC.

So, Pete got the money... was hypnotised by Lance's power, helped him after he was healed with his sickness and died at the

drug deal at the start of Vice City.

Although, I might not even add Vic in yet, so we need to wait.

Let us disregard the major fact that Rockstar confirmed that Vic was killed and discuss your claims why he was not.

-Vic's accent could have definitely changed due to the fact headed south to Panama. The folk living there could have influenced the way he spoke.

-Vic's height is pretty damn close in both of his appearances in Vice City and Vice City Stories.

-Vic said that he was finished being a criminal at the end of VCS could have been what he really meant. But, in two years (1984 to 1986) people's minds can change. Maybe he was short on money and had to turn to Lance to get him set up in a drug deal.

-All Vic had to do was fetch money for Pete so he could find a cure for his asthma. So, after he did so, he must've been leaving Vice City with empty pockets.

LEXTY here are three websites stating the fact that Vic was killed, not Pete:

-GrandTheft Wiki - Pete Vance

-GrandTheftWiki - Victor Vance

-And of course, Rockstar's website.

I hate R* for doing that. They created the character Pete, so why couldn't they have just used him?

Pete was created during development of VCS not VC, so technically in VC there were only two brothers. Beside what is the problem that Vic got killed? He is just a video game character. R* didn't know that they will use Vic again so they decided to kill him.

I agree. It seems logical to make a character one way, then decide to make him a protagonist later on and make him tougher and more brutal.

Toni Cipriani had another voice in GTA 3 also and Rockstart never thinked that he will be the protagonist of GTA LCS.

So when they maked LCS they put another voice to Toni.

The same thing is with Vic Vance.
