I was just getting bored again, and decided to check out GTAF once again.

First forum I checked is ofcourse, DYOM missions.

And since my game got all messed up, it opened my mind to a new idea!

The Problem

You know, many people judge missions by a first impression.

That's why there's a trailers thread around here somewhere, but wait! that's not it.

Our lazy gamer, will check out the mission and will notice slight difference from what he saw in the trailer, to what we could actually do with DYOM, he'll notice the lack of action, the missing audio and the ability to skip unimportant cutscenes.

Why won't we just start our missions with DYOM, pass it to the video editors and then just send it to Youtube?

 

I've noticed almost all the DYOM users that would see this thread, probably have a Youtube account.

 

 

 

The Pros

With D.Y.O.M, we make the first steps.

The timing, the characters, we choose the models and the most basic stuff of our Video, or episode?

With the video editors we can add the music we need so much, we can add the effects and add the cinematic feeling.

as for Youtube? we show it to the whole community, our lazy gamer will see how easy he can just click on a button, and view your mission, your story or your episode.

 

 

 

The Programs

- Windows Movie Maker - A simple editing program, nothing hard to use

It usually comes with XP, if you're using Windows 7 / Vista you can google it anytime and look for Download links.

 

- Sony Vegas - I'm not using, I've heard it's much better than Movie Maker, i'd like someone to bring me a description of it for this thread.

 

 

I've always waited for this thread but none actually thought of it.

using the instructions above, there are almost no limits to our abilities.

 

For quicker browsing between videos,

I'll add these who intend to make their videos here, in this post.

You are right, sometimes, i see a mission pack and i am not impressed at all, so i wont even try it!!

Also alot of members won't play my missions because my english isn't very good...
