Fire 'Em Off 4: GTA V Theme Song

To set the record straight, this is not a list off your favorite songs list. No. This will take a little thought. I want to know what setting you think the next gta will be in (time era, place), and the main theme song (this may be the one used in the initial load screen or one you think would fit with one of the first gta v commercials). If you can, describe why you picked the song and how it fits.

Location: A remade state of Florida including Vice City.

Time Era: 1997-2002

Theme Song: Sublime - What I Got

I wanted an upbeat song from a band from this era. It fits south Florida pretty well although I believe these guys were

from so Cal.

or

Nelly - Country Grammar (Hot Sh*t)

i was thinking foot loose, it sounds like a good car chase song

We are the same man, love that song... Or maybe 'you're the voice' by John Farnham?

Considering the game is supposedly set in Hollywood/Vinewood

.

Just imagine how sexy the loading screen and the Deathmatch (half a minute left) variation of the song would be wow.gif

I'd say it's most likely it'd be an original composition, as all the other GTA games have been.

It will be an original composure from Rockstar, like every other GTA game.

I think thats pretty obvious. Its just fun to throw out ideas play along.

Do you mean foot loose by kenny loggins, it's not the first song I' think of putting in a gta game but I have listened to it many times on independence fm in gta 4 and goes well I think.

Although Sympathy for the Devil by the rolling stones would make a good theme song to a gta game.

If set in Vice City (1980s), I'd say Eyes Without A Face by Billy Idol.

If the game is more of a Vice City or TBOGT then Blue Monday by New Order would be great http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VyoDbX1EkPQ

If it is a bit more serious like IV then I'm Not Driving Anymore (Instrumental) by Rob Dougan http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MyYNSkDBY8w

If it is like San Andreas then Hell Of A Life (Instrumental) by Kanye West http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BjE6NSxg99g

No GTA Intro themes have any vocals so if it is going to be a real song then it will be an instrumental version but it will be an original composure

Or the Guns 'N' Roses version would also fit well but like its previously been stated the next theme tune will most likely be an original one made specificly for the game.

Hell Yes. How was this song "NOT" in the original Vice City?

I say Kavinsky 1986 is another great candidate for the Vice City 2 Main Theme:

Has that "making a comeback with style" sound to it. Plus Kavinsky had a song in GTAIV, so it could be a nice connection there too

vice city 2 also needs these songs:

Nietzsche's God

The beginning of the song is a good intro. Song ought to be added into the whatever radio station. I got a lot of ideas. Wish I was working in that department in Rockstar.
