I was playing the dune buggy mission on GTA 3 and went for Joey Leone, because he was the character conducting the in-game mission's at that time. After I found Joey Leone and its variations were already taken by many other members, I decided to add '25' to the end of it. '25' is the day of my birthday. In hindsight (hindsight's a funny old thing), I wouldn't have chosen a GTA username, but I was still a child at the time. One-time Posted March 16, 2011 Share Posted March 16, 2011 Well.... at the time I registered I was really into GTA SA, and I heard "one-time" from the game's dialogues. My english was worse at the time and I didn't even know what it means. I like it, actually. I've used it on several forums now. your name means police. I know that already. I thought it was so funny I decided to use it from then on. Recently I've also been using variations of "MendicantBias" because I really like Halo (Mendicant Bias is a Forerunner AI construct) and it's a name that sounds very cool to me. EDIT: Previous to Oddsock I used to use modelman10709 because I liked building model airplanes from a young age and the numbers are from my home address. Don't tell anyone. Your name reminds me of the old Trumpet Winsock program that allowed Windows 3.1 users to get onto the internet years ago. What a piece of sh*t that program (along with Windows 3.1) was. My real life nick name is Tubbs and at the time i really like the zombie movies and games and what not.... much better than my original one that i've used here before :facepalm: my old user name here was the same as my first Xbox live gamertag. i couldnt think of anything and so i chose a MS randomly generated one and thus i began my online gaming life as StrappedEnd... god i wish i had a time machine to go back and smack the sh*t out of me before i accepted that gamertag and user name. Did you know that there is game called "Stubbs the Zombie"? I thought for a moment that your user name came from that and left off the S.
