Textures disappear sometimes in TBoGT

Recommended Posts

I've a really good pc, all run fine, but sometimes the textures in TBoGT disappear. Its disappearing too if I use the automatic settings button. So, can someone make a commandline for me? My old commanline looks like this: -memrestrict 681574400.

PS: I use some policecar mods, but in GTAIV i don't get this problem with the policecars wink.gif

My system specs are:

- Acer Aspire M7810 MS Windows 7 Home Premium SP1

- 64-Bit

- 4x2GB DDR3 RAM Dual Channel

- ATI Radeon HD 5970 "Hemlock", 2048MB GDDR5 RAM

- Intel Core i7 CPU 860 @ 2.8GHz

In TBoGT i use only 560MB from 996MB and i get around 20-30FPS.

Settings are:

- Shadow: Medium

-Nightshadow: Off

- Textures: Medium

- all others: high

- Resolution 1920x1080 60hz

Turn Sichtdistanz down until you find the graphics quality acceptable. I can't find that much difference between 100 and 70, due to lack of AA and blur DoF filter.

Thx, i turned it to 70, but after some minutes the textures disappeared. But i'll test it...

Try using memrestrict 838860800

You're using too high settings for that memrestrict value.

It's much better than my memrestrict but again no textures after some minutes. I'll try now -memrestrict 1073741824 (1024*1024*1024).

No, I'm not sure. Ok, I test it without the memrestrict wink.gif

EDIT: Yes, it works. Thx very much icon14.gif

Only one question: Is there any advantage if i use -nomemrestrict??? moto_whistle.gif
