Okay, so today, a little gift appeared outside my house....

A 1992 COROLLA notify.gif ...Okay... Not the most amazing thing every, but for a first car, I shouldn't be overly picky.

Though I am annoyed I missed out on a AU$500 VW Golf by a single day. ):

But nonetheless, here is my car:

If this does turn out to be a clusterf*ck, make sure you don't tell all the dudes from your other topic about it.

I still think you paid too much, but a first car is a first car.

Considering it is registered and was in the town, I won't complain for the price, as travel cost, or transportation cost and registration costs would've come close to the total price of this one for any car of similar condition/size.

That has to be the ugliest steering wheel I've ever seen. Hands down.

Congrats on the car though, hope it serves you well.

The Steering Wheel? Maybe the beigest (Toyota is legendary for beige-cars) but I've seen far 'uglier' ones. Though some sports rims and a sports steering wheel are fist on the list of things for the car.

EDIT:

...well that certainly seems like a worth-while investment.

Well I don't see any issues with the car, but those hubcaps make me want to slap someone, and well, the wheel... It is ugly...

I'm willing to bet if you fixed it up a some and did some minor restoration, it could turn out to be a great little car. It already appears to be in decent condition, minus the mileage.

  • 3 weeks later...

Good luck with it, I think it was expensive considering its age. However, it looks clean and tidy, just look after it.
