GTA3Rockstar 3,016
The fun thing is, even if the Colts manage a 5-11 season, "analysts" will call the season a huge disappointment. Which in my opinion, it would be a huge success. Considering what they were dealt with no Manning, it is a disappointment. Even though the Colts have always been a disappointment winning only one Super Bowl but having the best decade reagular season win percentage.

If anything, the start to this season is reaffirming to the world what should be one of the cardinal rules in pro football management. I. Do not, I repeat, do not fill in your defensive coordinator position with an offensive-line coach.

Xboxless 42
So you scared hodgey? You gotta make 23.5 points off of Reggie Wayne and Robert Mathis. Can you do it? This reminds me, I swear I turned off fractional points(technically decimals) yet here is a .5. WTF? Edited October 4, 2011 by Xboxless

Scifen 1
LeGarrette Blount really pulled through for me tonight to help me pull off that Fantasy win and move 'Cult of Cthulthu' on to a 0-4 record and me onto that 2-2 record Week 5 is me and you Rockstar, you ready? Want to talk about a come-back, lets talk about the Lions come-back against the 'Boys. Just talk about the start to the season! Very impressive, those Lions of Detroit. Pagelzilla 2
The Lions are god damned ridiculous. That, and Tony Romo seems to be wearing the other team's jersey half the time. This weekend was full of surprises. One, I really thought the Cowboys would end the Lions' streak. Two, the Bills lost to Cincinatti!? Three, the Eagles lost AGAIN. And the Bears beat the Panthers, too. I didn't think they would be able to pull that off. But really, how can Tony Romo be so hot-and-cold?
Jonesizzle 1,348
I feel asleep at half-time, and wake up with the Lions winning by three. It's bullsh*t. I'm really start to think Romo doesn't have what it takes, he just loves to throw those INT's, he loves to throw them in bunches. Pathetic really. I love my win in FF, my team is looking really good now.
King Kapone 129
Like I told my good friend the other day, Romo is still leeching off the fame from that 2006 Thanksgiving game when he threw 5 touchdowns on the Buccs. Checked right now, stat-line from that game: 22-29, 306 yards, 5 TDs, 0 Ints Ever since then, he's had believers. It's taken 5 years for everyone to realize he's fluff. (In my FF league, I'm f*cking 0-4)
Xboxless 42
Ahhh, sweet sweet victory! Arian Foster is back.....and Andre is out....damnit. We'll just have to go all running for a while.

Twang. 1,871
As far as I'm concerned, you guys have nothing to complain about: I'm a Vikings fan. I've jumped on the "bench McNabb" bandwagon, not because I believe he's solely responsible for our 4 losses (though he played no small part in each), but because this season is going nowhere fast and I wanna see what Christian Ponder can do in a real NFL game. I got respect for McNabb, but his best games are in the past, and our team needs to stop trying to fix all our problems with aging quarterbacks. How long has that been our MO? Warren Moon, Randall Cunningham, Brett Favre, and now McNabb, to name a few. The last young QB we had that was worth a salt was Daunte Culpepper.
Jonesizzle 1,348
And, unfortunately, Culpepper didn't last long after he threw for (I think) 30+ TDs. I am not a Vikings fan, but I have been watching AD since he was a Freshman at OU, so watching him be on a flop of a team is so disappointing, and was hoping he would've opted out of signing a new contract and go somewhere worth the spit. Hopefully Ponder works out for Minnesota, they need it. It's sad they haven't ever had a QB that is good, to stay consistently good with them.
Xboxless 42
I'm really starting to like my fantasy team. Seriously, who else has the problem of choosing between Ryan Fitzpatrick and Matt Ryan? Matt forte and Arian foster are on my team. Calvin Johnson! My only real weakness is my defensive players, they kind of suck....
King Kapone 129
I almost don't even want to bring this up. Starters: Philip Rivers, Devery Henderson, Steve Smith (Car), Desean Jackson, Michael Turner, Brandon Jacobs, Owen Daniels Reserves: Michael Vick, Peyton Hillis, Brandon Marshall, Victor Cruz K: David Akers Def: Philadelphia Eagles, New Orleans Saints On paper, sounds like a decent, if not great, team, no? I'm getting my ass handed to me. 0-4 on the season.

"Near" comebacks don't count as a "Full" comeback. but you gotta admit it was an awesome "near" comeback. Who'd thunk that TJack would light it up for over 300 yards and 3 TDs and 2 INTs (i dont count one of the two cause Miller should have held on to that sh*t)
King Kapone 129
Al Davis, 82, owner of the Oakland Raiders passed away today. He was beyond a crazy bastard in his later years as owner, but man, I'll sure miss Davis related news. If nothing more than to wonder "what the hell is he thinking?"
Twang. 1,871
Didn't see that^ coming. Sucks that he passed right when his team is about to probably have their best season in a decade, but then again, that seems kind of trivial when you think wow, this guy just died. R.I.P.
Jonesizzle 1,348
Al Davis was a great personality and a great read. As bad as I hate to say this, but I think the Raiders just might... just might be better off without Davis at the head now. The man made some really questionable moves in his career, specifically late in his career.
Twang. 1,871
^very possible, though I hear the ownership is staying in the Davis family. Aside from being the Raiders owner, the guy was also instrumental in making the league what it is now. Though he was initially opposed to the AFL/NFL merger, once he changed his mind, he did all he could to make sure it went smoothly. He was also an innovator when it came to racial integration on his team, and recruiting from small colleges. Also, sooo glad the Vikings won today. After the last four games, I didn't expect much from this season, so I lowered my expectations to "let's not go 0-16." Going 0-16 is bad enough, but I daresay...being the second team to go 0-16 would be just humiliating. That, along with us having a much better team than the '08 Lions, would just mean we suck at sucking. They sat out Bernard Berrian, which I hope is a sign that we won't be seeing him again too soon. McNabb played well enough, I guess, since we won, but I'm still hoping to see Ponder or even Webb soon. Edited October 10, 2011 by Sakuya
King Kapone 129
Oh my friggen Christ, if Philadelphia doesn't fire Andy Reid & company at the end of this season, I'm suspending my right to be a fan for a full season and converting to Houston (2nd fave team from the day they were announced as an expansion team)
tubbs51 106
a good game for my Hawks. It was pretty sloppy for both teams but the Hawks didnt let the mistakes get to them. Some great plays too. Still cant believe Doug Baldwin was that wide open for the TD catch. Silly DBs bought the WR screen before the OL even moved. And i know Baldwin is going to be an NFL star. The guy has brains, a great work ethic (he called Tavaris Jackson at 5am last wednesday to talk about the Giants defense lol), and a lot of skills. Now if we can get Luck (f*cking Colts, stop loosing dammit) my team's offense will be awesome. Still dont know why the f*ck no one drafted Baldwin. So far this year he's making 31 teams look like idiots... He's like Victor Cruz except he plays in a market that doesnt get national attention and the fact that he hasnt made mistakes yet. Plus the mother f*cker can take a hit and get right back up (thanks Dunta).
Jonesizzle 1,348
Doug Baldwin looks real good for the Hawks. I see the Hawks getting Landry Jones or Matt Barkley, but I don't see them being the worst team in the NFL (Colts, Vikes). Anybody else convinced that Tim Tebow is the best option for the Broncos at QB?
