I found this picture on a website.

The map came from Twitter, where the user "TorontoJack233" published in your account. In the message he wrote the following: "I wonder what my boss will think of this? Good thing I quit within two weeks. It's good to do something before leaving. "Apparently, the account of the future is a former employee of Rockstar, who decided to "spoil the surprise" of producing a little bit. Then the user has deleted the photo and also your social network account.

I think cell phone's will play a larger role in V. We've seen them since VC and I think in V, you'll have some sort of Blackberry type phone, I imagine Rockstar will spoof Blackberry and iPhone ect ect. I also believe they're going to bring back the "fun" factor that we had in San Andreas, a larger map (obviously) but I' not expecting Las Ventures to be in the game, though I would love for it to be. Vegas is the perfect setting for GTA. I hope/expect melee combat will be improved and wouldn't mind seeing a better ability to climb objects and buildings. All in all, I know Rockstar won't disappoint, they haven't since GTA2!

HUMAN FUNCTIONS - Bathing, sh*tting, pissing, shaving. I don't mean like the sims but eating too much should cause the protag to wanna take a dump. And if you leave your character alone for 5 mins he takes a piss. If he doesnt wash or shave he just gets told he stinks and looks like a pedo.

NO ENDLESS OCEANS - Instead of flying or sailing out to sea infinetly, a hurricaine should be sweeping the perimeter so either your plane falls out of the sky or your boat capsizes. The oceans currents then just wash you back in.

Los Santos as the largest city

Secondary cities of San Diego and Tijuana

Other urban areas including Malibu/Santa Barbara, Palm Springs possiby San Bernadinho

A theme park (either based on Universal Studios or Disney)

The Mexican Border

Desert

Some different landscapes, maybe Death Valley, Joshua Tree NP or Sequoia NP

Scalable mountains (probably in between LS and Palm Spring) hopefully snow capped

Cable car or even ski resort in the mountains

Abandoned Ghost Town

Big dam for base jumping

Plenty of small towns with expansive countryside between

 

Things to do

 

Plenty of extreme sports, quad bikes, base jumping, parasending, surfing/snowboarding, BMX

Gamble/bet on sports matches

 

Included in Story Line

 

Heavy influence of the film industry and preferably the porn industry

Lots of references to celebrity culture which will hopefully be intertwined in story line (i.e. the protagonist mixes in celebrity circles at some point in the game)

Be a lot more glitzy/glamour (i.e. the lifestyle of Vice City) and living the high life rather than GTA:SA, i.e. parties at mansions etc.

In GTA V we also need..

 

A lot more savehouses than in Gta IV and

way bigger savehouses to cars, like in SA,

with airplane hangars..

 

A army helicopter with lock-on-target missiles

like AH-64 Apache or Bell AH-1 SuperCobra,

which also can be stored on the roof of savehouses.

 

A helicopter mounted with

a magnet to catch cars.

 

A car carrier truck that can host like 9 cars.

Drive around at night and steal sportscars and drive them

down to dock container ship in similarity to SA.. Easy money!

 

A big asphalt compactor to squeeze the

living daylight out of annoying pedestrians.

 

A front-loading garbage truck with forks, to lift

cars up and crush them, in the vehicle's hopper.

 

Also, junkyards with workable machines like

car flattener and scrap-loading cranes, would be nice.

 

A stretcher to the paramedics.

Then steal the ambulance with a injured inside

and make the stretcher fall out in high speed.

 

The ability to be able to stand and lie on the

roof of any of the cars, while in movement.

 

Road junctions with roundabouts

and jumping ramps inside them.

 

Public transportation buses driving around

with people getting on and off, instead of

just standing still in few parts of the city.

More different buses too like luxury liner buses.

 

Bridges that opens up for bigger ships,

so one can jump over the gap with a car.

 

Many different tanks and much more

realistic durability and caterpillars track

for them too, so that the police can't stop

tanks with bullets and spike strips etc. - period.

 

Longer day and night time.

 

Making money by jumping over cars and stuff with

monster-trucks and bikes or by demolition derby race.

 

Pedestrian couples holding hands.

Would be fun to ruin their love hehe.

 

Pedestrians breaking arms

and legs from high falls.

Be able to tie pedestrians to car

and drag them around in the city.

Gta IV is solid as a rock.

 

Be able to steal a HIGH-MACS robot from a

the police and military, in hours long fights.

 

Trucks with huge iron pipes or train wheels

on the semi-trailer, that can fall off.

 

Trucks that are capable of dropping

off the trailer while in movement.

 

Make the emergency vehicles change

the siren tone, when driving in and out

of road intersections, by it's self.

 

Would be cool if the cars wheel(s), could fall off,

or the cars could break up in two parts.

 

Would be awesome to race through the streets,

in a Formula 1 Race car, with realistic sound

and most important - high speed. bye bye cops!

 

Make it easier to get away from a vehicle,

without closing the door, instead of having

the player to force the character away from

the door, every time leaving a vehicle in a hurry.

 

Apart from the hot weather most of the time, among others,

a snow storm in the city every now and then, over some time,

would be awesome, though it apparently,

is rarely seen in real life in L.A..

Would be fun to drive around on a snowmobile in the streets,

or move snow and other things with a snow plow on a truck.

And people skate on ice, around the city lakes too.

 

A lot of big casinos

A lot more jumping ramps

 

A lot more funny outfits, like hulk,

batman and superman outfits.

 

A lot more and a lot different trucks,

cars and planes that can be used.

 

A hole lot of small shops, tankstations,

fabrics and big shopping malls

one can buy or steal from.

 

A lot more and way bigger carparks

and with more cars in them too.

 

Be able to learn many different martial arts, like in SA

Be able to sprint for a much longer time

Be able to surfe on big waves

Be able to throw people from a helicopter

Be able to kick pedestrians while on a motorcycle

Be able to sneak attack pedestrians from behind

Be able to use a Slim Jim lock pick when stealing cars

Be able to drive cars on two wheels much easier

Be able to use a horse and run pedestrians down

Be able to sneak into LAX without any notice,

and steal planes, if LAX exists in Gta V

More ways to get drunk, maybe go to some store and steal some beer and get drunk. It would be sweet be drunk online too.

 

Also it would be nice to have better online features, like you can select what room you want to go to. Not like in GTA4 there you will selected automatic to a room

I want to redo my list, since some of the responses on here are pretty amazing and motivating.

 

• Custom weapons.
• Businesses
• Purchaseable safehouses.
• More weapon choice.
• Split-screen Co-op.
• Economic sense (TBOGT was in a recession yet everyone seemed rich and everything was super cheap!)
• Minigames and rampages!
• Actual INSANE stunt jumps. (Not stupid little ones from IV.)
• Better trophies/achievements! (Not multiplayer ones that never ping for some people!)
• Realistic police AI! Not this retarded, I don't see you but I know the exact point where you are, AI.
• Better cheat codes!
• Better handling and damage.
• Easter egg city like San Andreas.
• Better gun animations, let us see the kickback!
• References to real life events.
• More aggressive policing when your Criminal Ranking increases, at top rank police should be suspicious around you.
• Custom clothes.
• Return of the hotknife!!!
• Flowers as a weapon! All the fun times I had whacking people with flowers then giving them to my girlfriend.
• R3 Missions!
• Drug Dealing.
• Custom cars, and possibly helis maybe even boats?
• Showrooms to buy cars, sort of like VCS but with more choice?
• Solid, "made on crack" story.
• GTA realism. I want to play GTA and break into a military installation with ease! Then escape with a tank.
• Drug taking.
• Ghetto where people try to stab you randomly at night!

Some of my suggestions to GTA V below:

 

● More customization options to the protagonist. Not only clothes and hair, but also tattoos and beard.

● Days and nights longer (It could be like 1 in-game minute = 10 real-life seconds);

● To be able to use trunks, to store "bigger" guns (RPG, Minigun...), and to hide bodies and drugs, like in Mafia style.

● More guns, specially pistols (I would like to see Glocks, Deagles, Berettas, a silenced...) and meele weapons.

● Bikes and airplanes again. I'd love to take a bike and go for a ride around Rodeo Drive at a Sunday Morning.

● When you die, you have the option to pay more $$ to keep your weapons, or lose them.

● Or maybe a 'gun-license' thing.

● Make interiors for airplanes, subways, trains...

● Add the damn parachute!

● More "role-play" options, like in San Andreas; those 'fat', 'muscle', 'hunger' stats were soooo awesome...

● Add some 'assault' features, like banks, people... In GTA IV, you have to KILL if you want to steal money..!

● Keep that 'sleep' thing to save the game. It's nice because it's real, but also not so real as a The Sims. But make GTA V a little bit MORE real than IV. Like 'drink' coffee and 'sit' animations. Read newspaper...

● Gloves, outfits, chains, shades, hats, shirts, suits (open coat, closed coat...), ties...

● Keep the 'helmets' from GTA IV, but make it more realistic. Would you drop a helmet on the ground after wearing it?

● Make more things to do when you're alone in the city. Add gyms, bars (to drink alone, like in TBOGT), activities in general.

● Be able to 'save' vehicles in the garage, and pay a 'insurance fee' to get them back to garage if something happens to them. Like someone said before, it wouldn't be realistic, but it'd be greater than losing a tuned car only because you left it on the streets and someone stole it...

● By the way, change that garage system from GTA IV; I think it's hideous! I prefere the garage system from San Andreas.

● Add safehouses to buy. In GTA IV era... damn, it's soo terrible not being able to purchase houses... Please, more houses!

● Add those 'convertible' thing (okay, I saw it on the trailer, so I guess it'll be in the game).

● Make the player feel "free" when with friends/girlfriends. In GTA IV, it was soo weird... you couldn't watch a movie with your girlfriend, for example, in your house... it was just like "you can only take her to one place, then drive her home and look at the window of her apartment while you two have s&x".

● More 'kinds' of places. GTA IV's map is biiiiiiiiig, but it's only the same thing: city, city, city, city... it doesn't have the awesomeness of SA's maps.

● More Easter Eggs, like in San Andreas style.

● More bars, restaurants and strip clubs around the map. And be able to enjoy them alone, no need of friends...

● Keep this 'favor' thing about friends, but make it more 'mafia style'.

● More different missions, not only "kill, kill, kill, escape police, kill...", make a cool storyline, when the player must work for thugs, police officers, politicians, mafiosi... something "big".

● Be able to 'recruit' a gang without need to call your friend Dwayne. And be able to give orders to them, like San Andreas: "come with me", "stay there", "kill him", "stay in the car"...

● More interiors. Not every damn building with an interior. No. But more different interiors. Like apartments (be able to rob them...).

● Car dealerships. Damn, I really need to buy a car honestly. =(

● Keep these 'side missions', like Vigilante, but make them different: create a "career" system, where you can be promoted, honest, corrupt... This suggestion is a little bit too impossible to be done, buuut...

● Maybe be able to "buy" businesses, extort shopkeepers, improve your bodyguards, like 'build a Family'. I would be SOO FREAKIN' AWESOME a remake of Vice City's businesses, like mobsters style.

● Again: more damn clothes.

 

 

Some more suggestions I read in this topic:

● Dig graves... It would be great to keep a body in your car, then driving in to any farm and...

● More sports, glamour, lifestyle: damn yeah, it's LOS SANTOS, people wanna' enjoy their lives. More sports to live like a "playboy" around Rodeo Drive, and drink like a moron with your friends. (just like TBOGT improved).

● Influence of the movies and porn industry on the storyline.

● Keep those 'cage fights' from TBOGT.

● Be able to bet in games/sports (like Venturas style).

● Be able to be 'respected', to carry one or two bodyguards, control the thing, fight against the other Crime Families, throught favors, friends...

● Gun customization;

● Make the player feel like a real boss. In GTA IV, you became respected in the end of the game, but this didn't change anything. Okay... your friends will help you sometime, but... there's something missing! You should be able to create a gang, choose its place, clothes, skins, cars...

● As they said, 3 characters, same city, different stories. Then, if you play a story now, then you start another, would be nice if you, for example, see in the TV what the other character did... For me, 3 cool characters would be: a former mafia boss, who now wants redemption; a young-rich guy, who only wants to enjoy his life, drink and use drugs; and a gangster who doesn't like his crime life, but wants to get bigger and help his family...

● Be able to throw parties, drink, meet women, work for mafia bosses, studio directors, porn addicted people...

● Be able to enter cars as a passenger (like a taxi in GTA IV, but do it with your gangfellas); then, 1st person view inside cars, drive-by shooting...

● Yatchs... damn it, IT'D BE PERFECT IF YOU COULD throw a party at your yatch, yeaaah...

● A big mansion infront of any river/sea, to be able to store your yatchs in your garage/Marina, and use them...

● Be able to spend more time with your friends (or your gangfellas), and girlfriends. Like, taking 2 friends to protect you all the time, to fish with you, go to the strip club, drive for you...

 

That's it , I guess. I can't remember anything else.

ive just been playing IV again and a huge annoyance is the lack of vehicle variety at any one time. its pretty lousy seeing traffic jams with only two or three different cars. or seeing certain vehicle types in inappropriate areas. like a bunch of pickup trucks in algonquins financial district.

its probably not easy to fix in programming terms but it was bugging me today.

when you get in a car, it would be better if that car no longer appears on the roads.

I believe the most important things that Rockstar should do (bring back) with V, before anything else, are the following:

 

- When on foot, cycle through your weapons with L2 and R2 like in SA, instead of the sh*tty thing with the arrows. It's very complicated to change weapons with the arrows while walking;

 

- When driving, we should be able to re-use L2/R2 to look backwards and sideways, instead of the (again) sh*tty thing with R3;

 

I do want a lot of features in V, but I know that Rockstar is going to include a lot of them in the game, however what I fear most is that they may make the games lack practical gameplay, by making up stupid control changes like these they made from SA to IV.

 

I think gameplay is more important than graphics (DEFINITELY), being able to go on dates, have in-game internet, casinos, character customization, vehicle customization and all those hundreds of things.

my dreams for GTA 5? all three of the original cities with all of the classic SA weapons and new ones of course of course, and all of the original SA activites from clothing to vehicle customization plus activities that have been introduced in GTA IV like drug wars, darts, and drunk driving. And a zombie mode would be nice as well, and attract a large audience from the call of duty and left for dead crowd, seeking something new. And that would make for a better form of AI because then they could take the stupid zombie AI that relys on line of sight to run up to and rip your guts out program and give that to the magic police force that knows were you are at all times, to make a better more fun killing the pedestrian on the street and getting away with it experience. hee hee

 

the choice to cary two of each guns, and progress in getting more accurate over time

 

and when Rockstar introduces a new episode like tbogt like they did with IV, the newly added vehicles guns, pedestrians, activities, and possibly cities? are ADDED TO YOU HARD DISK on your xbox pc ps3 or whatever, so then you don't have to insert a new game disk to do a different activitiy in order to have a good gaming exeperience

My thoughts exactly! Adding the cities of San Diego (Los Puerta?) and Tijuana (Titirama? LOL) would make for exciting new places to explore.

 

And before you say San Diego is boring, its got a good zoo. (Would make for an exciting mission where maybe you have to sneak into the lion enclosure to retrieve something?) and its got a naval base. (access to cool military equipment)

 

Tijuana would make for a good change of scenery too. Mexican drug lords, illegals waiting to to be smuggled into San Andreas etc.

 

I would like to see the mexican border wall and seeing illegal immigrants jumping the wall and getting away from border patrols. That would be funny in typical Rockstar fashion.

 

Also I want to see a good villain this time. The last good one was Officer Tenpenny from SA. He was just ruthless and corrupt. Dimitri Rascalov from IV was just not memorable enough. He should have shown up more often.

That's what you'll be getting. It's a 6 cd game. Just use your III, SA, LC, VC, & IV discs along with V.

This may be a stretch but since GTA is going to realism, for me I want them to get rid of the radio on all Motorcycles.

PLEASE PLEASE Rockstar, add new beautiful cop cars with amazing lighting (wide range of color for siren lights and those lights should be stationed in different locations of the cop car) with the option to turn the actual siren off / on when patrolling the streets of LOS SANTOS. I would also like to see Cop Uniforms for us players so that we can foot patrol the streets of LOS SANTOS while in the disguise of a Cop. It will look SUPER AMAZING!!!
