more random character that you run into with abit more variety other than going picking up money and sh*t.

 

one i was thinking and this will sound abit or alot like Silence of the Lambs.

 

Meet a character who asks for help at his house, comes up with some story that the protaganist believes, you agree and head to his house, you go down into the basement to help him out but it turns out the bloke is a whacky nutter, your facing him and he says something then the lights go out, the screen is completely black, you don't know where he is you just hear footsteps and sh*t every now or then, the only way of lighting up the room is shooting your gun, when the room lights up you get a quick glimpse of a figure, you have to do that for a minute or so in this basement which would be large before you get him, after shooting him maybe he has hold of a rare gun that you can take as a reward.

 

Like i said very silence of the lambs but i would'nt mind stuff like that. I liked the random characters you ran into in IV but i think theres alot more potential in them.

• Able to purchase unique cars, like ford mustang, dodge charger, also purchase hemi engines etc.

• Customisable engines, like be able to change the radiator, timing belt, fanbelts, head gaskets, put a turbo on it etc.

• Customisable weapons, silencers, extra mags, scopes.

• BOLT ACTION RIFLES, and a 44. lever action winchester rifle, dated back from 1900.

• Less police roaming around, I want it so I can shoot my gun and the cops wont show up for about 5 -10 minutes.

• A map icon for police vehicles.

• Silenced weapons are more stealthy therefore police wont notice you as much.

• I want to be able to shoot a person in an alley way with a silenced weapon and nobody will notice.

• Illegal businesses, like prostitution and drug importing, I want to be able to purchase security to guard the business.

• Shooting skills give bonuses to weapons, like SA, dual wield after you master it.

• I want a 50 cal desert eagle, and I want the weapon skill to be once you master it you can shoot it 1 handed.

Yes, I second this. I actually just came here to tell you all this idea and I saw this post. This is one of those things that would be very little work for Rockstar to add, yet they simply will not for no obvious reason. All of the car dealerships we have seen are just lots with cars that vary according to the time of day. It would be awesome to have dealership lots full of brand new cars to use whenever we want. And the cars could keep spawning so that we could even destroy them all but come back and they're still there!

-Money earn not at a ridiculous amount where u end up having millions but can't do anything with it like in SA and IV. (this time it's harder to earn money. by doing the main mission to get rich is not enough, one must be able to run a business or other means just to earn some cash to buy cars, house, clothing, child's school fees, wife shopping spree etc)

 

-To be able to purchase a car and that car which u have purchase will not suddenly disappear when u park it somewhere. (unless if u forgot to lock it, it might get stolen) or having some sort of ownership to a car that player have stolen (maybe a change of licence plates) and that car too will not disappear, and of cos the amount of car is limited base on the garage size of houses u own

 

-If R* is able to make the game bigger, the ability to take a flight out to LC to do some mission or just for a leisure roam (or a holiday spot in vice city)

 

-Able to use drugs and take it's effect either to use it for leisure or during mission and able to get addicted to it. (unless player check themselves into rehab)

 

-Realistic car handling

 

-Car require to be filled up at petrol station (player having money problem for expensive gas price at the start)

- Old style American diners

- At least a few big truck stops / rest areas with food courts/souvenirs/etc available for purchase

- Some islands. Catalina would be great (and has a casino on, doesn't it? At least it did in 1938, which is when my current novel I'm reading is set)

- Basketball

- European football (ie, soccer)

- Surfing/Windsurfing

 

- The option to train in boxing/kickboxing/MMA/martial arts -- to mirror San Andreas except you don't lose moves from one discipline when you go to a different gym

- Functional ATMs/safety deposit boxes/storage lockers. I would like to secure money & possessions. Maybe bank accounts could accrue interest.

- Ability to invest in the stock market (except in this game it would probably be a good way to LOSE money given the era): you could invest in Vinewood movie companies, the fast food places etc

- Sports betting

 

- Visitable radio stations

- In-game earthquakes

- If the game has animals, it would be great to have the option to have a pet or say you had a farm, the ability to buy horses.

- In-game reality shows on the TV - say a Masterchef show, a Big Brother type show & maybe a police chases/dumb criminals type show which could feature some of your antics

- Restaurants

- Any food place, you can observe people cooking etc. Not just standing behind counters

- Pleasure Pier: Oldschool carnival games. Ring toss, milk bottles, Fascination, etc. People riding rides that are actually going around.

- Piercings / Tattoos (including henna and fake ones at pier/tourist type places)

- Haircuts - with tracks (Razor patterns) as an option. Perhaps the ability to do the design of the patterns by mapping them out in a grid.

 

- Radio/phone reception being affected by going into lifts/through tunnels/etc...maybe not make it drop out completely but could become slightly worse

- Radio quality depends on the state/pricetag of the car/speakers installed.

- Return of GTA IV's Internet

Yeah I agree with you lol. I really don't care about the race or age of the protagonist in a GTA game, but I do care about the gender. I do not want to play as a female in a game like GTA.

 

Saints Row? Sure, I consider Saints Row to be more of a childlike game (even though it's probably cruder than GTA in many aspects), so it doesn't really bother me. Not in a GTA though, no thanks.

My Idea:

 

I would like to be able to control flips with the right anolog stick when you jump off something. I just think it would be kind of cool to backflip off a huge cliff into the ocean. Or for sh*ts and giggles just try to do crazy stunts like jump off a building and try to do a double backflip onto a parked car.

 

On that note I would like to be able to stick a landing so if its just a small drop like a table and I backflip off he can land on his feet.

 

I know it will never happen in this game but I can hope for some more tools to do stunts with right.

Ive thaught up of an interesting little easter egg/addition that might be good in GTA V. A series of hidden tunnels under the city and countryside that dont have a large ammount of entrances/exits but have one of them rusty cars by each entrance/exit, sort of like an old abandoned smugglers network, could be added into the story as something that the weed growers use to export the drugs to the rest of the world.

I hope they improve hand to hand combat. I love going around unarmed starting street fights! Also it would make cage fighting deeper. Maybe the ability to use environmental objects as weapons( bricks and bottles and such). And make throwing objects actually do something
