-Better bike sounds. (2 stroke for dirtbikes and higher revs for streetbikes)

-A landscaping thing(nothing to major)that you could use to make stunt jumps in the ground. This game is in LS so there is always trails and it would be cool to make a stunt jump online with your buddy and hit it on dirtbikes and such. Maybe even make it a friends perk like one of the guys owns a landscaping business and you call him up and he'll get one delivered out to your location.

-More sultan rs type cars

-Offroad races

-Customizing protagonist to a certain extent

-More clothing options

-Better clothing options ie. T-shirts. Just have everything, and IMO it would be cool to have a little axis thing so when you wear a hat you can chose how he wears it whether its not quite 90 degress straight forward or if he pitches it up a litle bit or wears it backwards.

-Being able to get drunk on your own.

-Just for sh*ts and giggles but maybe if you stay away from your safe house for a few days your guy starts to get a little 5 o'clock shadow and after a few in-game weeks he has a beard, but as soon as you save in your bed he wakes up shaved and ready to go. Might be kinda funny to see who can grow the best beard.

-Better car damage, it's already really good but I wouldn't mind seeing stuff fall off or axles braking.

-Better hand to hand combat and have the cops leave you alone longer when fist fighting

-More interactive city and people around you. If it's LA people are always in a rush and can get angered easily

a cool feature would be sliding across the hood of a car when running towards it while trying to enter it, instead of wasting time by getting into the opposite door and hopping to the drivers side. and by slide, I mean like in stereotypical 70's cop shows.

Instead of going bowling or darts, how about a cocaine bender. A few lines at your apartment or your friends house, out to the club, some drinks, dancing, a finally removal by security cause your friends are out of control, followed by a fight out the front with security or another patron, with the option to leave it at that or go get some guns and come back and shoot the club up.

Also your friends hang out at your safehouse/apartment/mansion, so when you come back between missions to save, they are there, drinking, doing lines or whatever. You could make them come with you to back you up on missions etc, or do tasks for you like steal cars, make you money.

What if GTA V has multiple protaganists? Think about out it. The first trailer revealed 1 protaganist, who is played by Ned Luke. What if the next trailer shows protag number 2? Also, why not? What if GTA IV had TLAD and TBOGT in the game and not as dlc's? What if we played Niko, Johnny and L

- Co-op story mode

- Basic RPG features back from SA

- More mini games and more silly mini games

- Friends feature to return, but not forced on you like IV

- Car customisation

- Ability to buy customisable houses and businesses that generate money

- More heist missions!

 

Online:

 

- Multiplayer progression system similar to RDR, though without the vehicle/horse and weapon unlock system, or the prestige system

- Much better character customisation

- Access to all mini games in online free roam

- Challenges in online free roam similar to Burnout Paradise

- Online co-op heist mission (maybe let other players play cops too?)

- Clubs/bars functional in online, ability to get drunk/dance

- All in all, lots of content to do in online free roam

You know, one thing that always annoyed me is the fact that you could crash your car in close proximity to a large group of people and they would act as if nothing happened. In real life you would at least look in the general direction of the crash and/or closely watch the driver running off afterwards.

 

The Getaway had this, it adds that little bit extra to the believability of the AI.

When SA was still pretty new i remember staying up all night with my friends just putting in cheats and it offered almost endless fun and a new asepct to the gameplay

* Id like the choice to be able to do certain drugs and have certain results like in SA if you eat too much you get fat and too little you lose stamina and stuff. the euphoria engine would be fine but id love for the view to change according to each drug. ive always been annoyed playing GTA around all these drug dealers and users and our Char. is a square who doesnt touch anything.

 

*PLEASE bring back the positive/negative response from SA. i always thought that was a huge improvement to be able to interact with peds and rival gang members to either get punked or bang back. maybe have it where the bums ask you for money and you could choose to help or not.

 

*In public trans LA it would b nice to have a subway to get around. and instead of the camera just showing us sitting down we should be able to move around and interact. maybe watch AI get jacked by AI and bums sitting by themselves

 

*I would love to be able to go out and watch sporting events! they always have hilarious skits on certain teams and stuff id like to be able to watch a baseball and/or bball game GTA style of course

 

*Im hoping they bring back the food eating aspect for more realism and if so it would be cool to be able to eat in your safehouse. in SA you could walk in a grocery store it would be cool if you could use your money to buy food to eat at your house.maybe even get rich enough to get a personal chef(fast food system at hm)

I always disliked the feature in previous GTA's(although it did improve from 1 GTA to the next) where you relocated in-game objects from their position(by firing a few shots into them or ramming them with your vehicle) or blew up a car, would drive away for a few secs-mins in a certain direction & return to find absolutely no debris/knocked over objects or scorched cars. The way i hope it would be like in GTA V is:

 

Knock a few chairs/tables, etc down or over & they will be {"reset"} OR {moved/flipped back up by NPC's in like 10 minutes}

 

Blow up a car or killed the vehicle's driver & it will remain there for 60-90 minutes until removed by a {reset} or once again by {NPC towing trucks, etc.}

 

Fire a few bullets into a wall and that wall remain in the wall forever.

 

Etc.. you may get the idea.

 

Also the amount of time aforementioned would be real-life time and not in-game time, although that would be a great new addition to GTA V: real life time = in game time.

Adding a cruise control feature to keep my cars speed constant would be cool. The current driving system is damn annoying (accelerate/brake/accelerate/brake).

Yea i kno what you mean..the cheats in SA made the game so awesome and fun to play. One of my fav cheats was to bike jump much much higher than usual and i would go into downtown Los santos and starting with the smallest building i would hop my way to the next tallest building, eventually hopping up onto the the tallest building in the game(the one with the helipad on top)

4)Big planes,with good interiors,more plane varieties,Big airport for realistic landing/take off,not like San Andreas short airport runways.

5)car models like real world cars,more bikes,truck with trailers.

6)big maps with long/wide roads.many highways to drive at top speed.country side.

7)side missions.such as assassinating,taxi,police (should be real like arresting blah blah),hijacking planes,kidnapping peds with cars.

8)Creating my own family,with my desired cars,clothes,weapons,house....calling bodyguards through phone,like i should be the real boss,like ten cars driving in front and back of me.

9)buying properties not like small houses.i must be able to buy properties like the bungalow in the island in vice city(so i could grow my crime family there)

10)more clothing,glasses,shoes,suits,hair cuts,beard,goatee styling.

 

must have decent graphics not too much not less...and it must work on systems with decent configuration......

watching the trailer with animals....realistic people working...i think they are making something more good than what we think....

i think it must be the best gta game in the series.....

I really like your idea of having Plane interiors, kinda like how you can go on the subway on gta IV but with the ability to move around the aisles. It would also be nice for those typical (following someone) GTA missions and you tail them to the airport and get on the plane with them, kill them when they visit the bathroom, then jump out the plane with a parachute.

Anyway, is there a DLC ideas thread or is it just this one for everything? I have an idea but without details, maybe someone can pick it up and create the story.

 

GTA:V The Big One.

Set 1 year after the story finishes, a new character or a side character rom V. The Cascadia (or whatever the V equivalent will be called) fault has ruptured, most of the west coast has been flattened by a Magnitude 9 earthquake as far north as Vancouver, Canada and as far south as Northern California, as a resulted, the San Andreas fault has also ruptured. The LS map will have been altered due to flooding and structural changes. Looting and crime is rife, life is gritty and all is doom and gloom.

 

I just don't know what the story is yet, but as far as I am aware, if a cascadia produced a megaquake in real life, the whole fault could rupture and whilst it is not concrete evidence, there is suggestion that there is a link to cascadia setting of the San Andreas (maybe not as far south on the SA as Los Angeles, but it's only game).

 

Anyway, just an idea, I'm sure others have had simillar.

Trucks and trailers, being able to hook up a trailer and cause carnage, or just tootle around. GTA IV was a letdown because of not being able to do that.

 

And as said by someone we need a chinook, that would be cool.

would be cool if they made the cars a bit more realistic, ie. it could break down, needing to take it to a garage to get fixed, maybe need to call someone to come pick it up. fuel tank, gas stations to refuel ur tank.

 

also the whole gym idea in san andreas was great, and the ability to customize ur caricature a bit with the hair, tattoos etc

 

would be cool if u could be a part of some sort of gang, having a large number of gangs around the city etc and u have to work to earn their trust, have their lifestyle etc.

 

being able to make a family, able to marry someone of ur pick, that whole date system on the older games really went no where, so marrying someone,being able to talk to anyone on the street with a list of conversations to have with them, etc having kids, they could eventually grow up and join ur business or what ever mischieve u get up to, having ur "gang" or family members roll with u on the streers or in the car, go on bank heists, rob shops.

 

thats another thing, there were only certain buildings u could enter, being able to loose the cops or quicker travel on foot by busting through shops or someones home, also taking people hostage in their own home or in a shop, where ever would be fun.

 

being able to buy businesses, running them, etc

pimping ur car, performance and look.

prostitution!!

drug smuggling and distribution,

 

choosing your job!!!!! ur whole lifestyle, in the older games u were just a crook, maybe being able to have a job, ie business man in a company, police man, drug dealer, sports, working at a garage... and from this u eventually build up a skill from ur trade, ie mechanic, ur car breaks down, u could possible fix it at the side of the road. also u see cars broken down at the side of the road in older games, u could help them, and from that a list of conversations aroll, could be a sex chick that broke down, ask her on a date. a guy, a job from it, or money, friendship etc. another idea, ur character, is always a man, u should be able to choose between ur sex gender.

 

aircraft!!! better variety of planes, choppers etc. training schools for this and also other stuff, like combat courses.... different fighting styles, having to have a driving license. get pulled by the cops for speeding etc, being able to loose ur license.

 

being able to take drugs with different outcomes, alcohol etc.

 

games within the game, ie pool, darts etc

 

being able to swim... dive... and clothing u can purchase for different things, in this case, for diving... a diving suit...

 

thats just a couple of idea's i'l prob have more on a later date.
