I want a tow truck like the one in San Andreas.

I want to be able to rope someone up and drag them behind cars.

I want a taser and handcuffs.

I want a good 100% completion reward. The reward has to be something that you can't get any other way - like the bodyguards in Vice City.

I want a forklift that can lift cars.

I want planes and I want better camera control in the helicopters.

I want the flamethrower back.

I want the tank back.

UMP .45

AK47

Sniper rifle

RPG

Other:

Zombie/mob rule mode on multiplayer, and a whole bunch of amazingly amazing epicness of epic proportions.

The things missing for me are the following:

-Being able to rob people, not picking up a stack of cash after killing them, or brutally hitting them. Gun to the head will do fine.

-Being able to freely walk around in trains, with other passengers.

-Being able to rob houses and stick up stores/banks

-The ability to buy more safehouses.

-Moving up in the crime ladder, like in VC

-Clothing shops

-custom characters

-More things to blow up

-Pawn shops for things you've stolen

-Drug dealing like in GTA: Chinatown Wars

-customized cars

-Police traffic stops

-The return of the chainsaw, and flamethrower. I've spent hours chopping up people with my trusty chainsaw in VC.

Local multiplayer (similar to SA's)

I want a co-op thing like COD for up to 4 players. Everyone playing in the same room. You can play the story on co-op or you can play free roam on co-op (just like free moan in real online).

More Celeb Cameos i loved the fact that Katt Williams was in GTA IV... but i wanna see you run into people like 50 Cent or D12 including Eminem but at the same time look like the celebs..

Maybe movie stars even... but this seems to me that game would have to take place in Vinewood to make any sense.

Auto center camera option like in Red Dead Redemption, that was my biggest complaint with IV that the camera didn't follow the car when turning a corner.

well my poll got locked so who thinks the Shoreside Lift Bridge from Liberty City Stories should be brought back or remade. Personally i liked being able 2 push other cars into the gap when the bridge was up.

That would be cool. I would also be cool to try using the bridge as a ramp as it went up (like I do in Saint's Row).

I'd really like it if CJ made a guest appearance or even mentioned him (But thats even if they do San Andreas again).

I like GTA and Saints Row

I'm not the first person to say this and I won't be the last. San Andreas. We want all the epicness of San Andreas back. The fun gameplay, the variety, the crazy stuff, the variety of vehicles, weapons and side stuff. I could go ahead and list every little thing from SA I want back, but really I'd just be wasting my time since everyone knows all the stuff from SA we want and a bunch of people will inevitably list a bunch of it anyway.

But aside from SA greatness, I want many of the improvements IV made to stay and I want some improvements to the general gameplay. The driving needs to be changed. Making a turn at high speed needs to be easier. Turning in general needs to be easier. That doesn't mean you have to take the skill completely out of the driving. Just don't go over the top with realistic driving which just feels a bit awkward like GTA IV. If I wanted a driving simulator I'd play a racing game. GTA is a sandbox game and a game where you should be able to easily pick up and play the game and do what you want. Making the driving so awkward makes cop chases less fun. Oh and before anyone just says I don't like the driving because I suck, I'd like to point out I won my fair share or races online so I cant be that bad. Handling just needs a bit of tweaking. I mean the handling in IV is far from unplayable. I got used to it, but nevertheless it was more awkward than it should have been.

As far as on foot controls go, I think general movement needs to feel a bit less clunky. You should move around a bit quicker and my god they need to ditch the tap the button to run! Running should just be holding the button down. Oh and a weapon wheel is needed. Having to cycle through your weapon selection is dated. The cover system needs to be tweaked a bit and made a bit smoother. As for gunplay itself, I'm actually not sure on what they should do. Is it finally time to ditch the lock on completely? Perhaps. Actually you know what, it's a necessity. Another thing that needs to be completely changed is melee. It was slow, clunky and awful in GTA IV. I don't think they should try to implement any kind of depth in to the melee. Personally I thought the melee in San Andreas was fine. Just lock on and keep pressing the attack button. As long as it's quick and smooth it will play fine. It's much better than the slow and clunky dodge and counter system of IV.

I think the garage system from Saints Row should be implemented in GTA V. What I always found really annoying in GTA games is that when you put a car in your garage or parking space it only temporarily saves it there. By that I mean that once you take it out of your garage and inevitably destroy the car, it's gone from your garage and you cant get it back. This made all that car customisation in San Andreas pointless. You put all that time customising your car only to destroy your car making it all a waste. That's what I loved about Saints Row. You just save all your cars in your garage and you can take it out whenever you want, even if you destroy your car.

There's a few cool things Chinatown Wars brought to the series that I want to be carried over to GTA V as well. One thing I loved about Chinatown Wars was that EVERY little thing you find in the game was then placed on the map. From all the rampages to the side missions, even to the stunt jumps and security cameras. It's obviously cool that you can replay everything you find easily since every single location is recorded, but it's also cool for finding hidden stuff because you can look on the map to see where you haven't found anything, and go look there. It narrows your search down, and also makes it easier to follow a guide for finding every little thing if you need to. Another cool thing in CTW was that all the activities had scores and medals to aim for. It just adds replay value. I also want the ability to replay story missions. Since both CTW and TBOGT had this it seems like this is a given though and a new series standard.

And of course the drug dealing was really addictive! I certainly wouldn't be complaining if something like that made its way to GTA V. Another thing that I loved about CTW was the wanted system. I liked how it changed things up and make you have to cause police to crash to lower your wanted level. Now I'm not saying this exact system should go in to GTA V, but I would like somewhat of a variation of this system. Perhaps something of a cross between the GTA IV system and CTW. Getting out of the wanted radius and staying there lowers your wanted level, and so does forcing police cars in to massive crashes. Not like CTW though. The police need to actually be smart. It needs to feel rewarding forcing the police to crash. Not like CTW where you pretty much just cruise normally while the dumb police crash in to everything for no reason.

One of the most promising things about GTA IV was the multiplayer. I actually loved the multiplayer. It wasn't perfect, but it sure as hell had a lot of potential. The multiplayer needs to be improved, and if Rockstar play their cards right they can make a game that will never ever get old. Earlier I said bring back the epicness of San Andreas. Yeah, well now consider this. All that epicness with GTA IV style free roam. The free roam needs to be improved, and Red Dead Redemption has already shown us the way on that front. A problem with GTA IV free roam was that there wasn't much to actually do. GTA V should have activities like RDR had, but in the GTA style. Assassination contracts to do, places to rob, gangs to take out, rampages etc. Obviously much like RDR players would team up and form online gangs. All this complete with experience points gained for doing certain tasks, which would unlock new weapons, vehicles, skins etc. Other than doing the little missions xp can also be gained simply by making kills in free mode(both against npc's and other players), blowing stuff up, surviving higher wanted ratings etc. And of course xp would be gained by the other game modes like deathmatch, races, cops and crooks etc. I think they need to lower the amount of mp modes. At the end of the day hardly anyone played a lot of the other modes so grouping some of them to a single objective based playlist would keep more people playing different things. You know, the computer randomly selects a game type in the objective playlist, which players can veto if they don't like it.

I also think one new mode for multiplayer would put it completely over the top. Key to the city mode. Basically this would be free roam, with cheats enabled. Not necessarily the kind of cheats players can use whilst in the middle of the game because that could just be annoying and problematic. More like the kind of cheats you or whoever the host is sets before the free roam starts. You know, cheats like riot mode, all cars have turbo, flying cars etc. That kind of crazy stuff online would be so badass! Then again maybe allowing players to enter all cheats whilst playing this mode would be fine. I guess you just disable xp for this mode and allow everyone to go crazy however they like. Speaking of which, it's pretty much implied that I want all the awesome cheats back.

So yeah that's some of the stuff I want. Hopefully Rockstar can oblige to at least some of that. In any case, it's pretty much guaranteed it's going to be an amazing game.

They could introduce insurance in a really simple way. Website for a sketchy insurance company, you sign up, and customise your car to your heart's content. The small print of the agreement means that in order to get your car replaced, you have to complete a dangerous Gang Wars-style mission on behalf of the insurers. That way replacement is optional and a little time-consuming, but you earn it.

I don't like that idea. Having to do that every time you destroy the car you've customised would just get old and tedious. Plus it's not just a good feature for saving your customised cars. It's a great feature for simply being able to choose the type of vehicle you want instantly without having to search the map hoping the one you want will spawn somewhere.

What Saints Row did was that if you destroy your vehicle, when you take it out of your garage again you have to pay a repair fee. This would be fine in GTA V. What's also cool about Saints Row is that if you take a car out of your garage and then abandon it somewhere in the world for whatever reason, you can still select it from your garage. As long as when you abandoned it the vehicle wasn't destroyed you didn't have to pay anything either. I mean, how many times in a GTA game have you taken out a vehicle stored in your garage only to get distracted by something cool you notice in the world? You abandon the vehicle and can no longer take it out of your garage. The Saints Row system is just more convenient. It might be unrealistic to have loads vehicles permanently stored in your garage, but in gameplay terms it just fits best.

I think the insurance idea is far better than a car just magically reappearing in your garage. If you destroy the car that you've worked so hard on, it's nobody's fault but your own.

edit: just read your 2nd paragraph, and yeah, the fine you pay after having destroyed your car could simply act as the "insurance fee". But I think at least the player could take action of acquiring insurance before it's too late. Otherwise, when you trash your car, it's gone.

everything that was in the previous topic (why's it been locked/done again, I dont get it. This one will get just as crazy...)

OT: More freedom of play outside of missions - in iv and the dlcs , as much as i like them, the replayability does die down. GTA will come, it will be epic but there'll be another 4 year gap till the next one - we need alot to fill that void up.

More and bigger DLCs - 50 missions, more features (inc all ones seen in previous game - it annoyed me that Luis couldn't vigilante etc) And do more then 2, space them out more too.

Somehow i'd like to see more life POST 100% Once i hit that whats the point in playing on?? Theres nothing to do with all the unlocks. A plus one mode would be cool.

More wild cheats

Downloadable packs for the game including new cars guns and outfits - that is each DLC episode pack will include content for the parent game.

Film editor to the ps3/360

The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.

More DLC, like clothing, Vehicle, Weapon, Music & Weapon packs available in all game modes, assuming there is episodic content like in GTA IV.

Car Dealerships, i wan't to be able to buy cars. Yes, iknow you play as a criminal who can pinch any car he desires, but alot of people really wan't this feature in the game smile.gif

Oh & tonnes more Easter Eggs. & actual real Bigfoots & whales and stuff. remember how everyone was searching for Bigfoot in San Andreas, imaging it was actually real, something like that would just makethe game so much more fun & lovable tounge2.gif

& please return to the whackey old ways of past GTAs i loved the "Kill Frenzie" Rampages! rampage_ani.gif
