Hurrikane Posted March 6, 2011 Share Posted March 6, 2011 This is a topic for those that are itnerested in trying to find recent registered domains by R* which is very complex in itself, but there is no better place than here, and also the meaning behind the domains. As we know we have five domains already that were registered by Take 2 interactive a la Rockstar Games. The following Domains that were registered are as follows: CashForDeadDreams.com SixFigureTemps.com StopPayingYourMortgage.net HammersteinFaust.com LifeInvader.com If you search on domaintools.com as i have been doing it is interesting to see what comes up when you search these listings, it is complex at first but you have to navigate around the page. For instance if you search GTAMIAMI.COM you can see this is registered by Rockstar games. GTAV is not, although GTA5.com is registered by rockstar games. Now here is something i just found, and think has some revelence, although if someone is more keen on this stuff please explain what it means, when you search in domaintools.com ROCKSTARGAMES.COM, click reverse who is, it should say there are about 385 domains. Then you will see historical and current records only. Down below click refine or broaden report and type in cashfordeaddreams.com and this comes up. Look at the current domains that are being registered and there dates, for the letter C. Now it cost and arm and a leg to order this report, something like 800 dollars. Refine or broaden report Perform a new search View Report Pricing Historical Report Preview ("Rockstar Games" AND "cashfordeaddreams.com") # Domain Whois Record 1C . Current|1/28/2011|2/23/2011|2/24/2011|2/25/2011 Here is lifeinvader.com Refine or broaden report Perform a new search View Report Pricing Historical Report Preview ("Rockstar Games" AND "lifeinvader.com") # Domain Whois Record 1L . Current|1/9/2011|2/23/2011|2/24/2011|2/25/2011 Now if someone knows if those dates are when the domains were registered we are on to something, so if someone can shed any light on that it would be great. Also in domaintools.com if you go to screenshot history and type in sixfiguretemps.com you can see the placeholder webiste, and also there is one image is missing?? mmm. Interesting to note that if you type in the screenshot history GTA5.com you get this Screenshot History - http://www.domaintools.com/research/screenshot-history/ In domain box type in GTA5.com and see what comes up. Does the dates mean this is the day R* registered a domain, anyone with knowledge of how this works. 2/25/2011 , 1/29/2011, 1/21/2011 they are registering domains, if so they are registering alot Also i found this , i dont know what it means lol http://www.domaintools.com/research/reverse-whois/?all[]=dan houser&none[]=&timeperiod=historical dan houser registering sites under his name look at 2/3/2011 under the letter beginning with M, alot of action on that date. dc016 Posted March 8, 2011 Share Posted March 8, 2011 Well if you look under the domain of Cashfordeaddreams.com it shows a website. It looks like an outline of a website, so maybe they havent edited yet for the game. That website might be a future refrence for a mission in the story. Just a thought.
