Can damp air in a small room cause the body of a bass guitar to crack a bit because there are a few cracks in my P-Bass, my room can get quite damp and is small.

Well what temperatures does the room dip to? I know if it's cold enough, Freeze-Thaw action could be at large, i'd doubt it though.

I know its inconvenient but you might wanna bag it up when you've done playing with it, I know thats a pain in the arse though. Especially if you play bass as much as I play my instruments, I still have mine out on the stand but when it gets cold again I'll be bagging it man.
