I'm not being down beat. There have been tons of these that have been released and they're all fake. This one is no different. It's nothing more then a good Photoshop picture.

Good point, I wish we had some news that we could be 100% about.

Good point, I wish we had some news that we could be 100% about.

Not to mention that if Rockstar was going to announce a major title such as GTA V, I'm sure it would be a bit more formal and professional then some picture released on some random ass Twiter account or wherever it was found.

Everyone I know that is into RPG's, especially the ultra-nerdy herp derp Elder Scroll series, couldn't care less about the entire GTA franchise. There's no reason Rockstar wouldn't take the coolest date this century to release their next great super-title.

That website pic is an obivous fake. If you compare the background image to this image of the LA Skyline... You'll see that their image comes from a view slightly rotated to the left a bit. The buildings all match up height wise. If anyone can find a matching view, we'd be able to call this fake. I'll keep looking.

That doesnt really proof its fake though does it, that just prooves that the game is in Los Angeles, the only similarity i see in those pictures is that they are both the same city not that one is game graphics and that one is real

Ok, if it was real and created by Rockstar, the following would be true:

 

1 - The image wouldn't need modifications to hide it's artifacts caused by image enlargement.

 

2 - There wouldn't be an M rating already. It's just not far enough along for the ESRB to be involved.

 

3 - The Los Santos font is not a unique enough font for a game that takes place in LA.

 

4 - Rockstar is a HYPE machine, they wouldn't throw up a website that's not link to their social club, have some news, and/or a trailer to go along with it.

 

So, trust me. It's fake.

 

Also, does anybody know what PRG stands for?
