Guys read the first PDF on the list, it's today's. It gives you good inside, in the direction "The New Take 2" is headed.

The keyword is Add-on. Remember that.

You should post this in the thread about what the next GTA will be called, it might settle a few arguments about whether GTA V will be a new era

In that other thread about what GTA would be called if it was set in LA ... it went a little OT and people were discussing if V will be a new era or a continuation of IV, were the DLCs part of the era etc etc ...

In the slides of the Take Two presentation they said 'add-ons extend the value of our franchises', which could be interpreted that they will do add on DLCs for all their future games regardless of eras.

I see what you're saying but it still adds nothing nor confirms anything. Everyone knows for any franchise or any game even for anything - DLC means money. Its just stating the obvious. Solves nothing.

I agree with that too, but I was just saying ... it solves nothing because speculation doesn't give an answer anyway

We have had all these leak/rumor breakthroughs. literally any move take2 or rockstar makes there are thousands of people scouring the internet waiting for a slip up. I haven't found anything useful from take twos site though.

the leaked information is really nothing that can lead us a big clue. but just to be on the positive side ign apparently heard some great things about it and its codenamed project rush and there is a cast list

Yeah i just got back on now, at first i though something big had happened & this site was overloaded! Half of the images arn't loading properly right now, that just me?

I'd have thought any announcement would be some time after L.A. Noire is released, so I wouldn't hold your breath for anything in the next few weeks.

I don't know if an announcement would impact the sales of L.A. Noire or not, but as R* have put so much money into it I wouldn't have thought they'd take a chance.

 

It seems to make more sense to let Noire have it's time on the spotlight, let the media throw superlatives at it and the public play it without everybody thinking too much about what will probably be the biggest game of all time.

 

Having said that, I'm sure R* have a good idea how best to play things so we'll just have to wait and see.

I personally take anything anyone working for IGN or anything like that say with a [very large] pinch of salt. IMO he's just "saying" that. He's probably heard a rumour and is milking it for publicity.

 

Offical announcement of GTA? We MAY get "It's coming soon" or "It's next year" But even that i think is too much ATM. EVERYTHING I've heard from TT/R* seems to be focusing on making money "without a GTA release" therefore i do not think GTA will be announced until AFTER LA Noire, Max PAyne are released. i'm also thinking that LA Noire and maybe MP may get some DLC, so any GTA announcement would come after those as well.

 

Thats what i think anyway. I don't give a sh*t what some guy who works for IGN says on bloody twitter. IGN told me that the saboteur was a good game, and that The Bourne Conspiracy was one of the best shooters out there when i was reading previews. After that i've come to conclude that they talk out of their a*s.

It seems that Rockstar didn't expect the eager fans to discover the traces of the so-called RUSH project, which is obviously a pseudo name for GTA V. But after the news spread all over the internet, they requested actors and anyone who's related to the project, to remove the title or change it like the case of the stunts performer, Declan Mulvey.

 

In my opinion, GTA V is going to set somewhere in San Andreas state. I believe it's going to be Los Santos or San Fierro, or both of them, maybe Las Venturas as well, and of course the whole countryside, desert, counties..etc. For now, I believe E3 2011 is going to be proud with a big announcement of GTA V.

shandar robinson removing rush from her resume can only mean one thing: it means that she put something on the resume, that she wasnt supposed to talk about. I think that R* contacted all the stunt and voice actors, telling them to remove everything about rush, pretty much at gunpoint. We probably wont find out more about rush from this point on.

Lets not forget that there have to come a day that Rockstar announces something or shows us a screen/trailer/... Everybody keep saying "don't expect anything soon,...", why? Because it's like this for about 3 years... But it can't stay that way, there most be a time when you can say "expect anything soon"!

 

Another thing, T2K clearly said that the Grand Theft Auto series is the biggest leading franchise, so Rockstar is gonna make sure that it's marketing for GTAV is just right! Another game like LAN or Agent won't delay information on GTA V, because GTA V is just too big to move for something else with less 'power'... So the reason that they didn't say anything yet goes way further then only "the marketting of LA Noire, Agent" or what so ever, there was another reason...

 

Anyway, very soon the first real things will come up, you'll see!
