It's good see this many people interested In GTA V and It's good to see some news to lighten up this section.

 

Off-topic: you better hope we get some more good news about GTA because you Manchester United fans will be disapointed this year when Arsenal take the title.

Not a chance You just wait and see. United top of the league one point clear of Arsenal with a game in hand.

 

OT: Just to add something to keep people interested, how do you think Rockstar will announce GTA V and when?

Whatever makes you happy friend, I got a good feeling this season, we'll knock out Orient, then we'll knock out you and win the F.A. Cup, the title has Arsenal's name all over it and Barcelona can't handle us. Seriously though, it's been a good season this year, can't wait to see how it ends.

I would say the max time we are going to have to wait is a year based on the dates of the registered GTA4 domains...

GTA III - Announcement: June 2000 - Release: October 2001

GTA VC - An: May 2002 - Release: October 2002

GTA San An - An: March 2004 - Release: October 2004

GTA IV - An: June 2006 - Original release date: October 2007

 

All facts show towards that when a new generation is born they take about a year, otherwise around 6 months. This fall it's been 3.5 years since the release of IV, why is it so hard to believe that it could be released this year?

I haven't checked them all, but so far, they've all traced back to the same place in Virginia. I didn't notice that there are IP's on the others, too.

Went on Google Maps and the closest possible GTA V location Is New Orleans. Probably means nothing though.

Nah man, the closest to VA is FL, which would mean Miami, aka VC.

Granted ANYONE can register a domain, but only Rockstar themselves can register domains on the exact same nameservers as they did with GTA: IV in-game websites. They all match up. WORLDNIC.COM seems to be Rockstar's nameserver host.

Cool to see some proofs that the next GTA is in production. Altough I think most of us already kind of knew it. And I wouldn't count on a release this year. They still have LA Noire, Max Payne 3 and Agent to release, three titles that were announced a long time ago. I don't think we see the next GTA until say, 2013.

Rockstar North only currently have Agent in production. Max Payne 3 and L.A. Noire is Team Bondi & Rockstar, Max Payne 3 is Rockstar Vancouver.

I just want from R* to tell us release date (i doubt it will be this year) and to release next GTA same time for PC so i dont had to wait 1 year o so from console release and most important to tell us LOCATION, if possible new city which resembles detroit or philly xD
