Ah right. Well still, i dont believe ANYTHING i read on IGN or any game magazine. In my experiance they don't know what they're talking about half the time.

 

Still if he DOES say something, i would imagine he'd get sued. and i still believe he's saying it to sound cool (tbh i think i would do that too). If he knows something obv he cant say what, just gloat the he DOES know something.

He would only be maybe suspended, or worst, fired from IGN. He wouldn't get sued by any gaming publishers for a bad review. That is why IGN have producers and editors, to filter out such damaging reviews that may risk the company of having less solicitors from many Publishing companies.

 

At best, they are marketers with degrees in public relations. They are totally biased, and not be taken seriously as actual journalists that can provide any real objective reviews for video games.

 

The only thing good about IGN is looking at Jessica Chobot. I don't care what she say btw.

I wasn't bashing IGN myself, and don't take game journalism too seriously in general, but in a lot of cases IGN just seems plain ignorant of the subject. As far as reviews, they pretty much give every major release a 9.5 no matter how much it sucks. And are equally disproportionate in criticizing less major games.

Yeah, Pachter is only saying that sometime in the future, a GTA will be announced at E3. There is nothing at all pointing toward it being the 2011 convention.

I didn't know where to post this so here it goes.

 

R* has added more job positions to there site. I don't know if this has anything to do with the next GTA but the game in question is described as a "Third person action game and they also mention vehicle".

Yeah, but it is possible that they will "accidentally leak" beta videos of V then "get all panicked" about it and pull them back, but not before several thousand people download the videos then re-upload them to youtube or something. They have us figured out, they know how to exploit us. They know that if they "leak" but a smidgen of info, this forum and hell, this topic will both explode, the topic gaining 5 pages per minute. Remember when this topic was first posted? I do, it went up like 2 pages every minute. They have us figured out, and they know how to generate hype.
