abottig
The teaser at the end of the EFLC manual is a clear reference to there being open areas in V. Personally, I've been playing Just Cause 2, and I am hoping they take a similar approach with V as far as map design/choice. That said, I hope that the next installment is Vice City. If you haven't played Just Cause 2, you must try it out now. The gameplay isn't all there, and the world not very alive. However, the scale is enormous and the whole experience can be breathtaking. Just try it and you'll see. I say save San Andreas for GTA 6 in the next generation of consoles. THEBIGZED
Neither. They both were done as well as they possibly could have been given the technological restrictions, and the most important aspects of both VC and SA (atmosphere and the overall vibe of the given era/location: 80's Miami, 90's LA, San Francisco, Las Vegas) were perfected. Rockstar have said themselves (Housers) that they did LC again only because GTA3's version of the great city wasn't good enough quality. I for one would prefer Rockstar trying new locations and new gameplay opportunities instead of just repeating themselves again and again. Len Lfc
Truth is both. Although i loved Miami Vice in the 80's so i would like to go back there in a modern setting. GTAmikkel
I would love if San Andreas got a remake. It would be so awesome, I love the vibe of it, the songs, and the countryside. Just cruising on a road in the middle of nowhere. You couldn't really do that in IV. d0mm2k8
I'll say San Andreas, I would just love to drive through The Countryside In HD listening to "I love a Rainy Night" 1. Consoles aren't HD 2. I doubt 'I Love a Rainy Night' would be on it (no matter how damn epic it is). I'd prefer a new city, but if either I'd pick San Andreas. Vice City is just too bland outside the 80s and I wouldn't want them to redo the 80s. I would personally love a new San Andreas, but perhaps without San Fierro. But San Fierro was the original San Andreas; it wouldn't make sense without SF. Wolfmight
Feck it. A Combo PACK of both of dem... two different characters, split the game between both cities and let the player explore both as much as they desire. I guess you fly between them or something. People have a point though when they say Rockstar should make a GTA outside of America. that would be cool. DannyBee
Totally London, I thought everywhere else except Liberty City was portrayed well anyway, and didn't they say in an interview that they only did LC because in III they didn't give it it's true potential... SmoothGetaway
If you mean in the same sense that LC got remade then I say both. I felt like GTA4 really opened the doors to getting away from the police/criminals on foot and I'd love to have that new experience again in bigger better VC and SA. ChossenOne
VICE CITY! I've been dreamin' of a modern Vice City since i finished IV. Where as LC was all dark and gloomy, VC would be sunny and bright. Just imagine the beautiful beaches, swamps, pink neon signs, palm trees. They could add lots of little tropical islands all around. Los Santos is my second favourite idea. It too could have that sunny feel. A new setting could also pay off the most for R*. I'm sure that's what's gonna happen. Maybe Carcer City or London. My problem with those setting is that would probally come off having the same dark feel that LC had. Wherever it is i'm sure it'll be freakin awesome.
