I keep getting kicked from Free mode.

Recommended Posts

I have been playing GTAIV Multiplayer for about a week now and I have been kicked from free mode game a total of 4 times now. Today I have been kicked twice and I can't rejoin any of the populated servers. I don't know why this keeps happening, I drive around and kill players just like everyone else but I always end up getting kicked without warning.

Why does this keep happening? How long does it take for my kick to wear off?

Are the players kicking you or Is it just booting you out for no reason?? I get booted out of games every now and again without warNing then i cant re join.I dont know what causes it.To be honest GTA servers are not the best.

They are kicking me.

Cant help bro.Free mode is what it says it is but people take offence if you drive around shooting them.I really struggle to understand what the big fuss is about.Free mode If you kill or get killed it doesent add any stats or f*ck all..... so why complain about it? Maybe the guys you killed are part of some group who enjoy riding around on their mopeds solving mysteries or something.Or it could be guys who are part of a fantasy mafia family and dont want you in because your not Italian or some other BS.Are you using a rapid fire controller?According to other posts the use of rapids will get you kicked .Even though it is free mode and it doesnt matter.

The Hardly Boys. Two young whippersnappers with a knack for solving mysteries. I bet they were the ones that kicked you!

To be honest GTA servers are not the best.

Well, the game was released in 2008 and it was rockstars first time ever going online with GTA. Lets compare it to some other popular modern games like COD BO & MW2 where every 5 minutes you get a host migration and 2/3 of Host Migrations end in termination of the game. Not only that but it seems when just one player lags the entire game goes with it.

Children could have literally design a better system than Activision and InfinityWard have managed. GTA just has higher requirements so that there are less f*ck ups like the ones listed above. Not perfect but on the right track.

as much as I like GTA online, it has caused more connection problems than any other game. Invisible players , games glitching or crashing on the loading screen, people getting disconnected then cant rejoin because they are kicked, sure COD does at times have host migration and lag issues , but overall its a lot quicker and trouble-free.

back on topic > if you dont want to get kicked, make friends and make your free mode if thats what you like playing smile.gif

Think its about time for someone to upgrade there internetz

Only time I had invisible players and sh*t was on my old crappy wireless. I haven't been disconnected in months. No exaggeration.

plug a cable from your modem straight up to your ps3, works.

I've never had that many problems so I dont need to update my internetz confused.gif, but my online friends have, despite trying numerous solutions, personally I play on wired connection, so i've never had wireless issues.
