outlaw46
Surely there were more people out there than just me who were playing through Red Dead Undead Nightmare thinking to themselves, "How kick a$$ would this be in Liberty City with assault rifles, grenades, cars, bikes, and so much more!!!" Reading one interview with one of the Houser Bros. they said a big reason they chose RDR and not GTA for the zombie apocalypse was because of the Dead Eye feature for 'easier' headshots. But I started thinking about it and I remember being able, after some practice, to kill guys easily with headshots in the GTA IV targeting mechanic. Anyway, hopefully R* enjoyed their zombie product enough to think about doing it again in the near future with a GTA DLC (I don't know if it is enough content to make it's own separate game, but I'm sure they could make it work and you better believe I would buy it!). I loved AMC's "The Walking Dead" (although never read the comics) and I think that would be so cool to try to survive in the streets of LC or VC or SA in hords of undead. ...Imagine the tension of trying to break into and hotwire a car while being chased by mobs of hungry undead zombies!...gives me chills just thinking about it... Official General
This has already been discussed on here before a good number of times, and most people here (including myself) oppose the idea. You are extremely late to the table Mr Johnny-Come-Lately. Sorry to burst your bubble of excitement, but these stupid, played-out and gimmicky zombie ideas have just about got on most of us real GTA fans nerves. NO its not needed in GTA and the idea is played-out and just a stupid fad currently 'in' right now that will pass. NO it will not kick a*s NO it would not be cool to fight hordes of zombies in the streets of a city in any GTA game. It simply won't feel like GTA. NO to everything about zombies and GTA, its one dumb-a*s idea. You really want zombie game ? Then either keep playing RDR Undead Nightmare, Left for Dead or Dead Rising 2. We dont need or want this nonsense to spoil GTA and turn it into some silly freak show horrorfest. GTA just does not need that zombie rubbish to carry on being one of the greatest video game series. Kill the idea and kill that noise. Edited February 14, 2011 by Official General
TommyMufc-Champs
Uh I'm actually not sure. I will say no for now since a zombie DLC was used for RDR.
meson1
I too am dead set against zombies in GTA. I agree with Official General: it's a fad. It would turn GTA into something that is not GTA any more. So, no to a zombie DLC. No to a zombie cheat. And no to zombies anywhere near a GTA game because at that point it stops being GTA. However, IF Rockstar want to leverage the technologies used for GTA to create a whole new zombie sandbox game series, that would be the way to go. Edit: I found the previous zombie topic here: Zombie or superhero DLC for GTA V?. I presume mods may want to consider merging these two topics. (or more likely, locking this one.) ViceDiaz
even though i like zombie games like the oldschool resident evil games,i too have to oppose the idea.it would be a bad idea to do this with GTA.
SheHePaedo
Would be a fun add on especially in free roam.
vincentmillidge
As a DLC (you dont like it dont buy it) it would be good especially for multiplayer but rockstar would have to vastly improve upon 'undead overrun' which got very dull within days of first playing it
Kwandilibro
No. As Official General stated, it it a fad. Give it a while, and the media will be onto something else. Next, we'll be killing demons in COD. Let that sh*t play out, and be an original.
EvilDynasty
if it does appear in gta v it'll probably only be a add-on for freeroam and that's it probably
Weaver
hey it worked for Call Of Duty ... i like the idea, i think thats one reason Dead Rising sucked, it didnt have the realism of the city, you couldnt drive any car u wanted and it just seemed more comical that horror . i think it would be cool as sh*t, you start off on one side of the island and u have to travel to the otherside... say the airport? along the way u meet a few living people , have to hold off in certain buldings ... etc

I just don't see what bringing Zombies into the world of GTA could possibly do as in terms of improving it.
