mansician
I want to put my own music on the radio stations in GTA VC. I'm a sound engineer, so I've got music and recordings to make up the stations. I looked up how to do this in these forums as well as other websites, but something's going over my head. Apparently, the radio music is located in the "Audio" folder and is in ADF format. So, for example, the Wildside station should be called "WILD.ADF." So I replaced that file with some of my own music in the correct format, and went in-game to try it out, but it was playing the original radio recordings. I then deleted the file completely and it made no difference. I deleted ALL the .ADF files, went in-game, and still, the radio stations were playing like normal. So I dug around some more online and found LithJoe's GTA3 Audio Editor. This opens up the sfx file, but the radio station music is not in that file. However, if I delete sfx.RAW or sfx.SDT, the sounds all go away, including the radio stations. What am I missing here? It seems the only way to get rid of the original radio music is to delete sfx.RAW, but the music isn't even in there...? I've spent hours and hours trying to figure this out, so if someone can help me understand this, I'd really appreciate it. The-Prince
i did that a lot first : make your mp3 file with music or your voice or whatever 2nd : get the mp3 to adf converter 3rd : if you wan't to change flash fm for example, your adf must have the same name (flash.adf) 4th : put it into audio folder .......... it will works Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/469473-how-to-mod-radio-stations/#findComment-1060335745 Share on other sites
mansician
Nah. It's really not working. I've completely deleted every .adf file in the whole GTA install folder, and the original radio stations still play. I don't get it.
