Trouble with Revenger's Tragedy

Have GTA4 for PC, and I've taken a look through the forums and don't see the problem that I am having ...

 

However I did find a video on YouTube that is similar ...

 

Revenger's Tragedy problem

 

My problem is that after getting into the helicopter and gaining altitude, Dimitri and friends have crashed before Happiness Island and are dead. I can walk up to them and shoot them, and I've hit them with a RPG, grenade, everything, but nothing happens, except the game tells me to get back into the chopper. In the chopper there are red enemy tags on them, out of the chopper the tags disappear. I've attempted this mission a few times now, but I keep getting the same thing

I usually have an answers for a things that go wrong with these games, but this one has stumped me a bit.

 

So I've spent the last half-hour looking this on the Internet. But, I've concluded that it may be a weird technical glitch. In layman's terms, your game or game console has a defect. I read that maybe it can be fixed or, if your lucky, it may solve the problem itself. I'm not say you have a technical glitch, it's just something to consider. To enhance your chances of it fixing itself, do these things:

 

1. Make sure your game console is nice and cool. Blow a fan on it.

2. Make sure you do not have any mods active.

3. Try not to use your cheat codes.

4. Stay off the XBox Live or PSN for a while (a week or two).

 

These are all ways to help you if you have a technical glitch, which you may have. Try these out and tell me with happens.
