Best Protaganist in the GTA Series

I vote Niko Bellic for two simple reasons: he is confident and he is tough. Niko possess characteristics that other protagonists do not have. My runner up would be Carl Johnson who I find as a great protagonist. He is a strong fighter and never backs down, but I prefer Niko due to his past and his instinct to protect his family.
