Mr_Clifton
Well the last game saw the introduction of the TV into GTA. In the next game how should the TV Shows be built on? We had weazel news Broadcasts & radio shows like The Richard Bastion show. Why not bring Weazel news to the TV also & have Bill O'Reilly, Glenn Beck style talk shows with the crazy Liberal guest and the 100% if you don't agree with me you're anti American commie. Introduce all the major issues like Illegals, Gay Marriage, Environment, liberals, Tea Party, gangs blah blah etc all those issues that GTA is able to satires so well. Finn 7 five 11
i never really watched tv i thought it was pretty useless, you had to sit there and watch it and do nothing else, with radio however you can be doing a range of things while listening to the radio. Fair enough that's your opinion but I thought the TV was a good addition to GTA made it more real & an added Comedy.

Ok, well then, i liked the style IV had, the used car adds were pretty funny, i would like to see some comedies on the tv, and the numbers advertised were actually ring-able. It would be interesting to see some of the story characters appear on television being interviewed, and the had funny ass responses, say they had Vlad on the tv (i hated that ass) he would be downright rude, and probably get into a fight with the host, that would make me laugh. cactus.
Republican Space Rangers was hysterical. the first time my friend and I caught it, we were laughing so hard that we missed some of the jokes, so we waited for it to come on a second time.. If they can make more comedies with the same calibre as RSR then it'll be just fine. Not to mention, the stand up comedy routines were a nice touch too. visionist
TVs need to be on in the background now, in safehouses and public areas. Having to stop everything to watch TV is a load of ass. Watching TV should be a friends activity. Cars and phones should have TV. Live and recorded TV footage of your rampages should be broadcast by the news, with real-time commentary. More TV shows and channels in general.
Racecarlock
All I can really say is put some new content on there like a news network, more republican space rangers, more princess robot bubblegum, and that's it. Then the staff can focus on more important things.
The DZA
Seeing actual news events on the tv would be cool. I know they would broadcast on the radio, but it would be even cooler to see the report, on tv, especially after completing certai missions, ie;....there was camera footage of a shootout you were in....a traffic cam caught footage of a street race you participated in...etc... ...Certain vehicles that were equipped with TVs (Stretch, Landstalker, etc) should be viewable in the same format as watching tv in IV.... reform
They could remove them, that'd be pretty cool. Then spend that time making the radio, and the actual game better.

Highly doubt that making these tiny TV programmes took up too much of their precious time. My only suggestion is to add more programmes to watch, and a wide variety of them. Princess Robot Bubblegum was by far the best on there though.
AceRay
Have the shows on TV change according to the story, like RDR's newspapers
killdrivetheftvehicle
To me TV was a way of unwinding between missions. What they could do is add a text tv, that would have the programs, so that you could check what is on and coming next. I would also like to see that you could have the tv open and do other things, like in a taxi, where you can operate your phone and look around. There could be more channels, covering local and national stations, maby some subscribeable when you gain access to a satellite connection. More adds: *some add campaigns that are in billboards, radio, internet and tv (jokes) *special offers, only after completing certain missions (possible to buy the items or service endorsed) *reminders, that try to convey an image for an enterprise (really over the top) *tiny adds like "shark credit cards" (short rediculous two liners) Edited February 10, 2011 by killdrivetheftvehicle

Seems abit pointless to me. For me, I only watched the 'TV' when I was having a cig or having something to eat. I just switched it on, watched whatever was on, then turned off when ready to play. I don't see the TV as a main part of anything, as I doubt anyone actually wants to just sit there and watch it, let alone have a TV guide etc.

If there are more programs in the GTA NeXt, it would be good to have a guide of some sort, don't you agree?

In IV, they tended to have all the programmes running at the same time, but just on different channels.
killdrivetheftvehicle
Actually, they had two channels, namely Weasel and CNT, that showed different programs, but the programs were randomly available, if you switched 'channels'. But I'm not trying to sell you the TV-feature, just saying that if there were more channels and programs, it would make sense to have a guide. Mr.Moffat
Hope so, like it did'nt take up much, plus it gives us better insight to the worl of gta. if it's set in the 80's think of all the piss takes of the a team, miami vice, knight rider. One thing though cut down on the swearing on both the radio and tv!!
Official General
I'd like to see a regular news programme on the TV feature that reports on the crimes and events happening within the game, like shootings, robberies, explosions, drug deals, corruption etc. Just like the stuff said on the radio and internet news in GTA IV, but this time on a TV news show. I suppose some more funny stuff would be good too. However in GTA IV, I hardly watched the TV, I will admit. But it is nice little to feature for a safehouse, I'd like to see it stay. Rather than get a TV for free, it would be good to have to buy one from a store to obtain one.
