What is your budget? Are you going to be doing something else other then play GTA IV and are you going to play other games as well?

im looking around 1,000 up to about 1,500. i would mostly play gta 4 but i would use it for some school and i would probly play other games. I was looking into alienware but thought i would find other options and then decide.

Because of the recent issues with the new Intel CPUs, they can't be bought till around March or so. If you are really desperate you could go with the older i5 and i7 CPUs, but they don't perform as well as the new i7 and i5. Assuming the price of the motherboard and CPU remain the same after they are put back onto the market, this build would equal to about $1500 including shipping.

 

Optionally, I would spend another 20 dollars and add two red LED fans to add to the side of the case for better airflow to the GTX 580
