Brooklyn's Finest

Recommended Posts

If anyone has seen the movie Brooklyn's Finest, have you noticed that there are a lot of rap songs from GTA IV in it? The apartment that the gangs stash money in, I swear to god they were playing The Beat 102.7 in the background.

Here is just one scene from the movie, it's like something straight out of GTA IV.

I agree with what has already been said in this topic, that scene is like the mission "A Long Way To Fall", the only thing that was missing is that that guy didn't chase some other guy on to the roof of the building and shoot him off of the top.

Yeah, plus there are one or two more songs played on The Beat featured in Brooklyn's Finest, seen it a couple of times, love it so much.

Yeah, aside from the scene I posted there were other scenes where there was The Beat 102.7 playing in the background. I'll try to find more scenes

This is an awesome find. I love the movie, just didn't recognize the song until seeing the vid on here. I just got GTA IV and seen Brooklyn's Finest sometime last year. I also like the picture of the Twin Towers in the scene when he turns the stereo off. smile.gif

The Lolwut Pear
in my opinion guys this is no coincidence. Obviously the director was very fond of Rockstar...

DoubleOGJohnson

Brooklyn's Finest reminds me alot of Liberty City. One of my NHG homies got shot by LCPD back in '09 right in the middle of Firefly Projects. He survived, but when I saw the first scene of the cops killing that dude it reminded me of that. The corner store where the kid got caught stealing reminds me of Herod's Market on Masterson Street. Herod's is the corner store for Firefly Projects. And the scene with Wesley and Don Cheadle standing on the docks setting up the last drug deal reminds me the area around Hairy Al's Auto Parts right off of Ringo and Broker-Dukes Expressway.

Wow, it's not shopped either. I checked the actual movie and that sticker is there. GREAT FIND!

I love this movie! Have always thought it was pretty underrated. And yep, during that scene I was geeking out big time.

It's not in GTA IV, but I also really loved the use of "Hey Love" by the Delfonics near the end, too!
