Sooo, I'm guessing everyone went and bought the PC version? With my aging PC still in pieces in the spare room, I opted for the PS3 version. I've had a quick go and find the aiming controls really poor. It's normally a case of aim, fire, and watch the screen rattle around until you fall over or they do. Hopefully it'll improve.

 

Maybe I'll get the PC version one day. For now, I suspect, no -GTAF- action for me. :-(

I did but I need to download this update. Goddamn.

I did. Insert Disc 1, after it reaches %75 I need to insert disc 2, then I need to download this.

It's an Origin SNAFU thing. It's the entire game he's downloading. I had the same problem after a botched install. Clearing the cache might work, but I had to re-install Origin (not that it helped me any because I have the Russian edition and had to download the game anyway).

I have downloaded 4.9 Gigs so far, I think it is actually pretty good.

I have finished the download, and it doesn't wanna work.

So anyways I rented this sh*t to give it a go, figure "hey I haven't given much of a f*ck in regards to video games in a while but this looks sexy as". so I rent the goddamn thing, spend about 40 minutes lowering myself to the status of a scab in order to try and retrieve a xbox live code, I get a one monther (which was quite polite and generous of the gentleman) and they pull THIS sh*t ON ME with the online code or whatnot.

All the old BF2 boys are primarily on Xbox.

Bah. I think I'll miss the old days more once Back to Karkand comes out. Karkand was all I needed, and probably all I'll play. Well, we'll see, maybe I'll switch platform if it grows on me like BF2 did. Besides, I'd only embarrass myself at the moment.

I'm not great at flying, but we did manage to pass the mission on hard on the first try with a friend of mine with me flying.

I love the fact, that you can share your games (sort of) with others. And in a very detailed way.

Damn, I had no idea that thing was so detailed. We held the top two spots consistently through those first four games which was pretty awesome. Teamplay in this game is a lot of fun when you're not playing with pubbies.
