Ugh, another mediocre trailer from EA, not only does it show us gameplay that we've already seen and that it is about 15 seconds of actual gameplay but it also has derogatory and misogynist music!

 

I've got to hand it to EA's marketing team, they sure know how to create sh*tty trailers.

I noticed something interesting though. Why on Earth would EA release a trailer with the words '99 Problems' in it? Does Battlefield 3 have 99 problems?

 

The trailer was obviously appealing to the average 12 year old with ADHD and who also plays CoD, it has mediocre rap music and a lot of things happening in it so the 12 year olds with ADHD won't get bored by it .

 

Seriously EA, sort your sh*t and don't CoD-ify Battlfield 3.

That trailer looks like it was made by a low functioning ADHD sufferer who's been told by some big boardroom types that the kids like that "urban hippity hop" music. It's all over the place (not a single shot lasts even a second, what the hell) with a terribly unfitting music choice.

God damned, I was going to get the 560, but now they need a 580, f*ck it. A 560 is still good for me on medium setting.

 

On a curious note, what happens if say, I put the setting to high on the 560?

Not just one 580, they want two 580's in SLI mode. That's about €1000

 

If you put it on ultra, depending on the system your running, it will just lag.

It's just marketing to get you to upgrade to more expensive hardware. The higher they set the bar, the higher end GPU you will buy for the money you have, in order to have a better experience.

@vertical limit: It will be laggy, under 30fps, choppy. "unsmooth". All that jazz.
