Wait, what?

Can you explain this modders, glitches, etc? Because I've never played BF3 and dealt with such nonsense, even recently. If you're not good at Battlefield, that's one thing but don't blame it on hacks and such.

??Whats the last time you played it? I played it last night and about 50% of each different match/server would be using glitches like getting into inaccessible areas or onto inaccessible ledges etc. Then there would be about 1-2 ppl per match who we would be using god-mode like hacks where they became temporarily invincible. But only that could of possibly been severe lag as well or lag switching. Then finally you just have those unethical COD-like players who spawnkill nonstop. There are just ver skilless players on BF3 nowadays.

Also I was or most the top player of the entire servers as I was the only that seemed to care or know about the objectives and i usually had the most successful kills or influence on the outcome of the match.

But like i said, i think its just the BF gave up on BF3, no one moderates it and all hell just breaks loose.

I have been playing BF3 recently on PC and I haven't experienced any of those problems you mentioned. Must be a PS3 specific thing.

Today I bought Battlefield 3.

It's not a used copy, but the shop opened the box and took out the disc so they could put the box into the store window. I normally only buy brand new copies, but thought what the hell, I'll go with this since it's cheaper, and it's technically an unused copy.

Now, the box is from the standard edition of the game. However, when I opened the box - lo and behold - there was a Battlefield 3 Limited Edition disc inside. Now, what I'm wondering is, am I supposed to have some kind of code to redeem the "Back to Karkand" DLC or is it all on the disc itself? Because I didn't get any pamphlets with codes on them. Only the standard pamphlet with "instructions" in it.

I was disappointed by the lack of a proper game manual, but oh, well... Looking forward to playing BF3 this summer. And I regret not giving the series a try earlier.

Thanks to whoever answers.

Someone swiped the DLC code. Which is a shame because the B2K maps were the best thing about BF3.

Actually, I wasn't supposed to get the codes in the first place, I guess. I should have gotten a standard edition BF3 disc. Which may mean that somebody else bought a copy of the Limited Edition, got the codes, but got the standard edition disc.

Serves me right for not buying brand new. -.- Never again.

Or the guys who worked in the store you bought it opened it up to stick it up as display then pulled the flyer with the code on it for himself or a friend.

They're not the best maps in BF3, but they're good ones. Vanilla ain't bad.

So I have a problem with multiplayer...

Whenever I try to access multiplayer, co-op or My Soldier, I immediately get a message saying: "The connection to EA Online was lost" and then the games starts loading and never stops. I can still see the main menu in the background, it fades out a little, but I cannot do anything, pressing any button doesn't work and I have to quit the game.

My friend says that BF3 on the PS3 is the same as on PC, as in, if you activate a BF3 disc on one system, you cannot use and play it on any other system, only on the initial one, and that this may have been done with my disc. I'm not really sure this is true, but it is possible, seeing as I didn't buy a brand new disc (see above posts to read about it).

Can anyone confirm or help me out with this?

recently started playing BF3 again. i prefer it more to BF4.

operation metro is my favourite map. i used to like caspian border but not anymore. it's a shame that tehran highway/grand bazaar don't get used much anymore. BF3 had much better vanilla maps than BF4. the only ones I'd play in BF4 were metro 2014 and operation firestorm 2014.

I love Kharg Island, it just feels like a really good balance between all classes and any combat. Want to go air, have fun. There's also a lot of space for recon action, and there's just enough vehicles to not make it a tank fest.

Misunderstood

Just curious? Anyone here use a controller on BF3 PC? I do, I challenged myself to it and plus I'm more comfortable with one and surprisingly, I don't do too bad with one even without the aim assist lol.
