Francis Szumilo
Does anyone try to create a sense of realism in their gameplay? I do this pretty much the whole time I play, it might seem lame to others, but sh*t I have fun with it, and its much more challenging. I turn the radar and HUD off, only carry a pistol, with one clip in it (Unless I know there will be trouble, I might bring a bigger gun, or more clips, but I NEVER "put it in my jacket" as Niko does, which is very unrealistic.) Now, I know it's game, and you're meant to have fun, and if games were truly realistic, they'd be boring, but before I hear any of this sh*t, this is my way of fun, you don't have to like it. I'm just wondering; does anyone else do this? Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/468798-realism/ Share on other sites
na89340qv0n34b09q340
Yeah, but not at seriously as you do, i usually give niko a job, have him focusing on living in only one house, and only use weapons if i really need to. What do you do when Niko dies by accident? Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/468798-realism/#findComment-1060321484 Share on other sites
Francis Szumilo
Depends how he dies. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/468798-realism/#findComment-1060321490 Share on other sites
Docfaustino
Sure do. Re-dress him once every couple of days, only let him drive (read: borrow) Michelle's Merit or Roman's Taxi during the beginning of the storyline. Be courteous to the North Holland Hustlers after befriending Dwayne, spend more time at the Homebrew cafe after befriending Jacob. Listen to Vladivostoki from time to time. As for guns. I keep to a pistol and a combat shottie. Although, in TBOGT? F*ck it. It's MEANT to be over the top. junkpile
I don't kill civilians. Lately I don't even steal cars. There are plenty you get without having a "GTA record" and I actually DRIVE them. When I used to steal any car in traffic I parked some surperior and favourites in my parking space but NEVER used them. So without stealing cars, I actually use what I get during the story. Francis Szumilo
I also eat and drink regularly, and yes I use only one car that I hadn't stolen (I've been using it the whole game.) I drive a cream colored soft top Emporer with a with a metallic white coloring on the exterior. Brown interior, looks pretty nice. I visit the car wash regularly, hang out with friends, and sleep daily (Usually changing after sleep.) I also drive slowly, and stop at red lights. I don't know why, it just adds some fun to it, since rampaging with an RPG isn't really what I'd describe as fun. cidamelo
It depends sometimes I act like a good citizen, stopping at red lights and things like that, but sometimes I act like a serial killer killing everyone!! TopHat01
Funny you mention this, I just started a "realistic" playthrough of the story. Stealing as little cars as possible and driving legally. But I also have the "More Liberty" mod installed, which adds a ton of traffic and pedestrians. Francis Szumilo
I can't wait till I get my new PC, It'll make it more realistic with some of the mods people have. The realistic driving mod is a good one too, you should check it out. It makes traffic moves faster, so that's a plus .
