I use imageshack.

And I resize my pics before the upload with a real program. I don´t use resizers from filehosters, they´re crap. Sometimes they even distort the image I suppose.

I resize the pic and then I upload just the resized one without any options activated at the filehoster.

There´s an option like "no resize" available on most filehoster sites.

... the BIOS is a better solution for a 24/7 OC ...

What do you mean by that?

Sorry, I'm dutch blush.gif

OC done through BIOS is better if you want to use your CPU overclocked all the time - do & forget.

for resizing - either install some simple program, or use imageshack.us and choose 800x600

Grrrr, ImageBam and ImageShack won't work like I want; I'll keep using Picasa and just resize the pictures a bit.

Is this a good size or should it be a bit smaller?

When posting lots of pictures, I'll resize them so they can fit 2 besides each other in a row, ok?

800*600 should be enough, then you can put two pics beside each other.

When I post two pics side on side I use max. 600 pixels width. Even that is enough "to see what you have to see". lol

^^ Why not? I can see all I need to see.

Maybe you should ask Dpeasant3 how he post his pics, I like his way. It look cool.

You have also a 24" so it will look the same on my screen than on yours.

Don´t listen to girls that told you size matters. That´s bullsh*t. Same with pictures. No need for huge ones, when you put some ENB-viagra in it it will be hard and small! colgate.gif

@Exxon: Well try to update your mobo to newest bios, what's your mobo's brand? Some manufacturers offer on-the-fly overclocking tool like gigabyte, asus or evga, it's worth trying. If you still feel a little bit confused about bottleneck then download programs like MSI or ASus gamer OSD, this will show your GPU usage while you're gaming. Normally, a bottleneck free system would show about 98-99% GPU usage for intensive game such as Crysis, Just Cause 2 or Synthetic benchmark tool like 3dmark...I guess yours will be around 70-80% in those games/benchmark tool. Trust me, overclock is necessary nowadays, as modern GPUs tend to make CPU struggle real hard. Especially GTAIV is a CPU power hungry game.

About image size, you can use tool like photoshop or create a photobucket account which has an built-in image editor. Not really convenient but a not-so-bad solution if you don't like photoshop.

Hope this help.

PS: Oh well, seems like size matters problem is solved biggrin.gif

As first; Damn! That's a f*cking nice rig you got there biggrin.gif

But, if I'm right, my GPU usage is always about 99% ... or that's what I remember from my sh*tty GT 220 wink.gif

I'll check it right now with MSI Afterburner

Oh it's your call, you can still buy a new mobo that allows you to overclock that CPU. Running that Q83 at 3.5GHz or more is kind of sweet you know.

not needed.

overclocking the Quad will give you a huge leap in performance. the Q8300 itself isn't the best choise for OC, but running it @ 3+ GHz will seriously impact performance. Also - have you tried unlocking your 6950 to 6970? ph34r.gif

I gues I won't be buying anything new for the next 3 years as my father says I should be happy with what I got now for atleast 3 years, because I bought a new PSU and GPU about 6 weeks ago angry.gif

Somebody overclocked his [locked] processor with editing something that's called PLL (not done through BIOS, but with software), a tiny part on the motherboard?

My BIOS is locked sad.gif and I can't even touch SetFSB icon13.gificon13.gif

I got the Twin Frozr II edition of the 6950, those can't be unlocked anymore cryani.gif

^^ This post by Class is a pretty good example for a good picture post. It contains all necessary ingredients IMAO:

1. Nice pictures

2. Not too much pictures (it could be more as well with this pic size)

3. Good picture size (640*360)

Good contribution Class. icon14.gif

Indeed. If you mean the second one on the right side not downside.
