Game Running Awfully Slow

Today I thought I'd get my old game out of my cd/dvd tower to go try out ENBSeries Graphics mod on it seeing as I got myself a new graphics card. Anyhow, I've tried running it on the highest it could with almost every feature available and the resolution at 1440x900. ENBSeries was enabled right at start up but I didn't see any improvements whatsoever, but my game runs really slow which I would not have expected with this older game. I play any new game just fine.

AMD Athlon 7750 Dual-Core 2.7 GHz

8 GB Ram

XFX HD5670 1GB GDDR5

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

How does the game play without any Mods?

If you have changed OS or Screen settings, If your system upgraded anything (drivers, etc) since the installation, Delete the GTA_SA.set File.

Are you playing the game in W98/XP mode, with Administrative Privileges?

And... before people here begin investing a lot of time trying to fix a possible NO-FIX situation:

How are you playing:

1. With the Original DVD in the Drive?

2. OR are you Using a 'backup' disc?

3. Are you Using a No-CD crack?

4. OR a Downloaded game from Direct2Drive, or SteamPower.com

5. If none of the above, where did you get your game? Please specify.

.is it possible to run enb in windows7..?

.if u want a better game performance try to lower ur visual settings..

.about the enb its hard to see in a normal car...try to DL any car mod...and look on it, there must be a reflection
