Am i the only who thinks that Saints Row: The Third is one of the... WORST open world games ever! I just bought this game 3 days ago because people were talking about how its so much fun and how its better than GTA IV and stuff like that.. i think i'm i the only one who realised how boring saints row 3 is! Its not "FUN" its an immature, childish and boring game! Its fun for like 3-4 hours but after that it gets repetitive and really boring.. And now for the story: well.. I dont know how voltion turned saints row from a "Gangsta" game with a bit of craziness to a childish, immature , weirdass game!! If you actually played the first saints row (and the 2nd) you will realise how BORING saints row 3 is! , saints row 1&2 were fun but they still had an ACTUALL story! (esp. Saints Row 1) Unlike saints row 3's story which means no f*cking sense whatsoever! ****SPOILER ALERT**** i mean.. if you played the first two saints rows (like me) you will know that Johnny Gat is the ONLY good character in the WHOLE saints row series! And guess what? He gets killed "OFF-SCREEN" in the first hour in the game! Does that even make any f*cking sense!! I still dont know how they turned saints row from a crazy "Gangsta" game to a childish, immature, boring, "GTA Clone"

It is. I was playing SR2 the other day and IMO while it's inferior to GTA IV it's still a 1000 times better than SRTT.

 

Even sucks would agree SRTT sucks.

SR3 isn't a great game, but it's more of a disappointment than anything. Anyone who enjoyed SR2 probably had quite a few WTF moments while playing SR3. The only redeeming quality is the co-op. Find someone to play with and it's a lot more fun.

Sr3 was a huge disappointment. I didn't really understand the point of the storyline since the guy they always showed as the main villain was dead within the start. Not to mention the sh*tty clothing options, and all of those stupid gang kill activities. Hell, the activities weren't even that good - they actually made you play through most of the f*ckers in the main story missions it was that dull. Then you had the girl who was part of the team turn into a complete plastic bitchy barbie doll when she was nothing like that in previous games.

 

Total huge disappointment. Not to mention my game glitched and didn't unlock 2 story mission achievements, I'll be f*cked having to play through again.

Yeah I don't know why Shaundi is such a bitch this game. Last game she was a cool stoner who had personality (and promiscuous) but she was a person and her sexual endeavors showed themselves to be useful as she had contacts everywhere. They completely killed her and honestly she doesn't even look the same.

So, uh. I bought SRTT the other day and I beat it last night.

I loved it. Loads of fun to play and although the story didn't quite make sense at times, I didn't mind.

 

I have yet to play, co-op, online, or "whored" mode as I'm trying to get 100% but I have to ask a question:

 

Why so much hate from everyone for SRTT? I mean, yeah the story was really short, but all in all, it's a lot of fun!

To be fair, I've never really played the second one (and I heard the second one is loads better than SRTT), and the first one I absolutely loved. I spent so much time with that game back when it came out! I got the all the DLC, etc - and I find SRTT better than SR1.

I highly suggest you play SR2 if you want the answer to that question. I can't even begin to describe why it's better. It's something you need to experience for yourself to know just why people are so pissed about SRTT.

 

In fact, you not playing SR2 yet loving SR3 basically just proves how the developers completely f*cked the fans. They didn't even bother to stick with what the players liked, it's as if they made the game for non-SR fans.

It's not a bad game...for the first 4 hours of story and gameplay. Agter that your right, it just gets boring. GTA IV was a whole different/better game. You actually got really deep in IV, everything connected in the end, there were loose ends, it was just a much better game in general if you ask me.

Then you need to play SR1 and SR2 again. Its not about waredrobes lol. Its telling the story of a gang banger who has gone through hell in the ghetto. He then at the end of SR2 is normal still. SOMEHOW 2 years later in SR3 he is a celeb icon. HELLO? How does that work? I liked SR1 and 2. 3 was trash and they know it. Thats why they changed the DLC release date chart and are releasing the DLC faster to be done with it. The price of all DLC also went down on PSN and XBL, and the DLC mostly gets bad reviews (besides genki). I bet we wont see SR4 for a long time, due to then working on INSANE.
