Saints Row 3

So I was looking for the last gang op yesterday, the one on the top of the building in loren square. Whille flying around in my helicopter looking for it I crashed into a building and glitched through the wall, there was an interior which I have never seen in the game before, unfortunately my helicopter blew up and I died before I could get a screen of it but it just seemed that there was a complete interior to a building that wasn't in the game at all, I didn't even recognise it form a cutscene. Perhaps it's another thing that has been cut out for a future dlc. I tried going back to it again but just kept crashing into the wall, it was the building directly behind the two large purple towers in fornt of the saints hq, I'll try to find pictures of the building I'm talking about.

I think I know exactly what you're talking about... Sorry for asking a stupid question, but you mean the Saint's HQ, right? tounge.gif

If so, go to the pool area and jump on top of the ledge on the left side of the building...now slowly walk off and if you do this correctly you should fall onto an invisible pole that you can walk on. Now run over to the left corner of the building and you will fall through it.

It's an interior used towards the end of act three.

Me and my friend found this glitch a couple of days after release...

Sorry for my sh*tty instructions, but I don't have my Xbox at the moment.

Actually it wasn't that, I took a helicopter from the helipad at the saints hq and flew straight forward til I got to two large towers that were connected and there was a money pallet on one of the areas that connects them, I flew past that then the building directly behind it was the one I glitched into, it was near a building that has a gang op on its roof.

IMO Saints Row The Third was tge biggest gaming disappointment of 2011, I remastered that game numerous times and got bored if it in a month and a half.

Does anyone know what patch 1.03 does? It is for the add on yes, but does other things. I noticed in my game that i now dont have the bridges glitched up anymore. ALso, fans at the forums there who rioted about the genki pre order got what they wanted! We got the Genki Funtime pack which is what preorder suckups got.

Btw, not sure if anyone knows, but remember how SR4 was announced? Dont expect it till late 2013 or 2014 due to there next project, a survival horror game called INSANE: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Insane_(2013_video_game)

Trailer seems OK, no gameplay, but looks alright. But dont judge it just yet, Remember, the PS3 game AMY had a great trailer, but the game was compared to eating poop.

I'm pretty sure it was just laying groundwork for Gangsta's in Space (which was another pack of mediocrity, IMO. It was better than Genkibowl, but I'm still glad that I got it for free and didn't have to pay for it), and other minor bug fixes besides besides the bridges. I'm glad those are fixed finally.

Creed Bratton

I hear people are complaining about Gangstas in Space being 25 minutes long. Wow! Really Volition?

And you can't even replay the missions! They aren't like Genkibowl where they're an icon on the map. So basically, it's a waste of money if you bought it. Apparently, they said that a DLC mission replay patch would be added, but who knows when that'll be available. Hell, if they can make a DLC mission replay, why not a replay for EVERY mission in the campaign?

Are you guys serious? 25minutes? No replay option? I was going to repurchase SR3 just so I could at least finish it, but the guy said a used copy was still 45 bucks. sad.gif I'm not paying that kind of money for that sh*t fest.

Gangstas in Space is VERY short. And as mentioned above, I can't believe there is no option to re-play the missions. There are several mission-specific achievements that I can no longer get. For anyone playing this, I suggest making a separate save file so you can go back and finish the achievements.

Totally not worth whatever price they are asking for it. I however got this for free (Season Pass) so I can't really complain.

I love how they said they will patch it "later". I have a saying, laziness is where the passion should be. In other words, volition lost thier passion and replaced it with laziness. I got to thank volition though, they are providing me with some great material for my paper.

Can't you take a joke, right?

Well, I don't blame Volition for all these flaws at all, since Mike Kulas (Volition founder) retired, Volition Inc. become a fully THQ puppet.

Sadly THQ screwed things up. sad.gif

Hm, I knew about this DLC before it was released (here's the leaked list of DLC from November, most of which have been released by now), and I was sure it would include the NyteBlayde outfit seeing as the main character is wearing it in this screenshot. Not like I was going to buy this anyway. I haven't paid for any of these DLC packs, and I certainly won't in the future due to the fact that it's all on the disc anyway. All of this stuff should have been available in the game to begin with.

Goddamnit... this is simply the most disappointing game I've ever played in my life. And I did play a lot of games.

And they simply deserve a slap in their f*cking lazy f*ckfaces for this so called DLC and for cutting the features that made SR so awesome.

SR3 doesn't even feel like SR.

I don't know, this Saints Row has refined gameplay (cars are still not fun to drive though) and is graphically consistent. It makes Saints Row 2 look very broken. But yeah it barely has any content and the dlcs...

And what happened to this skyline with a dense core of awesomeness?

How ironic: this "DLC" got perfect title to describe guys from Volition and THQ.

I am so glad I cut the game from my wishlist. It's better to play SR or SR2 for another time. They were at least made with passion and ideas.

Best part of the game? "Power" trailer. I really thought this game could be good...

I bought the game, the rest of the dlc's I got from torrents, that is a great way to repay a developer for being greed.

You should have torrented the main game as well. I did my part on slapping V in the face by recommending my friends to buy other games though.

Im pissed.

Such a shame how this game turned out. Saints Row is an amazing series, and the third game is no exception - in concept. Actual gameplay is such a letdown. This game has so much potential but instead of focusing on what the game is supposed to be, what they advertised, and what people paid for, they're trying to save their own ass with these extras. Why the sudden DLC anyway? SR1 had two free clothes packs and one paid for pack. SR2 had two mission packs and a free clothes pack. They were nothing special, but ten times better than these tiny drips of content, which somehow are supposed to make us enjoy the game and forget about what Volition/THQ did wrong.

I don't know who to blame more though. THQ are probably the ones who call the shots, regarding marketing and DLC especially. So although Volition developed the game it wouldn't be fair to place all of the blame on them, they are restricted in their freedom to create what they wanted. For example Test Drive Unlimited 2 by Eden/Atari was such a fail over TDU1, everyone blamed Eden, the dev's, but as it turned out Atari were the greedy c*nts and the executives just wanted the money and didn't even communicate with the development team, and just plain forgot about the customers. So as a result the game flopped, patches took months, DLC even longer, all due to lack of proper support.

So I'm just sayin' we can't just go around saying it's all Volitions fault. They already gave us two great games - how could they possibly think this is what the fans had in mind?

You got some right there SmC12, but we can't blame THQ for everything and leave Volition out of this. THQ is definitely responsible for marketing, dates of premiere and will to suck more moneys from player's pockets, but THQ didn't write this half-assed story with activities dressed up for missions, didn't design this badly-made dull city and didn't cut half of the game that was worth something only to put some damnably bad substitute. It looks like both of THQ and Vilition begun to lose it. They smelled so much money that they became blind for everything else. They don't seem to care about players and quality. Money became their main goal. Saints Row will probably end somewhere, maybe not with the fourth, but fifth or sixth part may be last of it. Just look what they did to CoD.

Well only a hungry wolf hunts...

Volition didn't have much to compete against. Saints Row had to be good enough to pull players away from san andreas which was still a big game. SR2 needed to pull players from GTAIV. SR3 was made with the intent of being wild crazy and an "anything can happen" kind of game. Over the top was a phrase used way too much when the devs were talking about this game. They completely forgot what made SR so good. Neutering then removing MP was an idiotic move. People could have forgiven the flat story if they could have had the amazing system that was in the original...
