Wow, this is extremely arcadish. It literally took him 2 seconds to take off and after a total 4 seconds he was at full throttle.

On the subject of landing gears. If you can not control them then I am going to slide down the buildings. (like a bug if you don't know what I mean)

Awesome sky diving video, I love how he almost got the plane and you can go pretty high aswell. I agree with the other point, I hope take off is slower and more realistic when I play and not mighty fast.

The retard strikes again!

So soon until release i am getting excited, from the videos i have seen it is still fairly similar to SR2, i was hoping for more of an improvement, but the game has not been released yet, so i should try be a little more optimistic i think.

The Video makes flying planes look too easy, i want to have a little bit of a challenge, so doing tricks and navigating in between buildings required a bit more effort/practice.

I think the reason it took off so fast was because the guy didn't build up the momentum and just wanted to take off as soon as possible so pulled back the stick. It's probably just a slight f*ck up in the system.

Exactly. In Saints Row 2, the plane doesn't take off unless you pull back the stick, so you can speed along the runway as much as you want and build up as much momentum as you desire until you pull back the trigger. Being able to take off fast is just an advantage for the times you really need to take off, and for fun smile.gif

Which is just one symptom of them not carrying about aerodynamics at all, and just putting planes on rails. This is actually very, very sad. But with Volition, you kind of know in advance that they'll screw up the physics.

Prior to filing a bug against any of my code, please consider this response to common concerns.

Yeah.

But lets look at the bright side, I think there are Much more Positives and improvements in this up-coming game than Negative aspects. I mean the Graphics are pretty good, the gameplay looks insaner than any other game I've seen, features are awesome and the story doesn't sound half bad.

I think this is going to be a very good game, I enjoyed Saints row 2 and compared to a few gameplay vids and trailers I've seen, it seems complete crap now.

Seems like you still can't put up the landing gear sad.gif unless the guy playing just didn't.

LOL...did the parachute come up from his ass? biggrin.gif

Absolutely unnecessary, try to be at least a bit civil.

Anyway, i know GTA:IV didn't have planes you could fly, but i preferred the easy-to-use unrealistic arcade-style helicopters on SR2 to the realistic but frustrating to control ones on GTA:IV, but maybe that's just me.

Edit: New SR3 video of virtual reality Deckers mission.

LOL...i find the helis in GTAIV amazingly good to manipulate with, i love flying and making difficult turns with them. IMO the best heli controls ever.

I just frigging hated trying to aim at anything with those fixed-position miniguns, while fiddling with the complex controls. angry.gif

I actually agree, helicopters are supposed to be a bit difficult, you trade in some ease-of-flying for maneuverability.

If you take that away, you're left with a plane with a rotor.

That was last nail to this game's coffin, at least for me. Playing in world copied from Tron? Cheesy, but I can live with it. Playing as a crapper or rubber sex doll? Really? I like arcade games and two first parts of SR were okay, but this one crossed every border of stupidity on it's way to total retardness.

I was never a fan or Jackass, so I can't stand this utter crap. One thing that was cool in SR series was customization of your character, homies, cribs or cars. Rest was made as poorly as possible. And crapper is final destination for that game. Volition killed another cool game with it's retarded ideas.

Guess what? No one gives a f*ck.

The main thing putting me off SR3 is that it's way too similar to the second one. Like with the sounds, atmosphere, HUD, movement animation etc. They've added a lot of cool features but if it still feels just like the last one, I don't feel like getting it.

Heh, the same thing happened with Saints Row 2.

Has Saints Row the Third gone Golden yet though? Or is the leak just what they've made so far!?

Those leaks happen to tons of games these days. How does it happen anyways? Hackers?

Everybody expects games to be perfect, can't people just get along with the good stuff. What's not to like about SR3, you don't have to use all those over the top featurs, if you want to play SR3 like an average sod then you can, That the Beauty of it! You can be a street thug and cruze around in cars or be a gimp in a fighter jet.

Also the physics some people complain about, and it feeling like previous episodes. Didn't Vice city feel a little like III, didn't VCS feel a little bit like SA? I think it did, but for me it was cool.

Well, graphically they were quite similar, and they all felt familiar, but they had different features, different characters and very different atmospheres. And overall they were quite different in most ways. SR games are more than similar. I'm not saying that SR is a bad game though (I pre-ordered SRTT), I'm just saying that was a poor argument.

I love all the pink and purple hues coming off the city it night. Looks gorgeous. I'm also loving the road textures. That drive across the city, you can notice how not repetitive the road surfaces look, which is nice.

Also, set in the Autumn?

Was that Gat talking to the MC about the penthouse? If so, it means he does not die in the second mission like many people have speculated

Not really, Anyway I thought the graphics in both games were quite different, SR3's seem much more polished up and clear especially in these video's we're seeing, in screenshots they don't look nearly as good.

Well the thing is he can die, plus there is that zombie bobble head of him floating around.
