Man, I’m glad to see this hasn’t been deep six-d for good. I thought this idea had potential and it seems it dose.

 

I’m really digging the new title, allot more imaginative than the old TC games.

 

Also I hope that it's all in Cantonese with the option to have horrible English with bad lip dubbing (syncing) like The General suggested, it'd add to the atmosphere IMO.

Seems like a lot of people missed it but in last nights GTTV there was a little peak at the gameplay.

It really annoys me when Journalists don't know there sh*t. I admitted it was very minor here but when he talks about the western and eastern influences, and he uses The Departed as a western influence for the game. The Departed is based off a Koren Film Infernal Affairs, so that would still be a eastern influence.

It's only me or this will be above Saints Row The Third. I really don't why I compare these two but from the pictures is like it gives that enjoyment gameplay that you never get bored. Serious business.

Same here, this game looks like a dream come true, most likely going to be a Day one buy for me.

 

I bet activision is going to be beating them selves senseless over loseing this gem.

Good question. I hope they're saving that as a surprise. I wont be too dissappointed if there's not, hopefully. Maybe originally there wasn't and now that Square Enix have it, they'll put it in.

This game combines the shooting mechanics of Max Payne with the melee fighting system of Batman Arkham City. Plus, throw in GTA-ish free-roaming but only set in Asia. Me likey.

Yeah just like what they did in JC2 they have a variety of flyable vehicles.

All the previous True Grime games have been terribly generic, poorly written and uninspired, easily one of my least favorite of all the GTA contenders. I did like a few of the things I saw going on in the game footage (except for the shooting from the motorcycle, instantly destroying vehicles - too arcadey), hopefully the reboot and slight change of direction in production and who's making it will breathe some fresh life into this stale franchise and give it some autonomy. I'll put it in my GameFly cue for now.

Well, it's being developed by United Front Games which had nothing to do with the first two titles apparently. Their team is made up from devs who have all worked on 3 person open-world games from GTA to others.

 

Lets hope they pull it off.
