YankeesPwnMets
No, its normal because the CPU will need to work harder, and the harder it works the hotter it gets. However, if you do a overclock where the CPU speed stays the same no matter what, then the temps will stay the same for the most part Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/468095-how-percent-of-temperature-more-should-you-get/#findComment-1060307605 Share on other sites
Dud123
and why he just gets 3°C more and i get 40 more? Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/468095-how-percent-of-temperature-more-should-you-get/#findComment-1060308077 Share on other sites
Exxon
normally, mine is about -+37 degrees and while playing, it doesn't reach the 58 degrees, i gues that's about normal, the guy who only gets 3 degrees more probably has a real gaming monster. but 40 degrees, a bit much isn't it? maybe you should check your ventilation and if necessary, clean at all the dust (by opening the pc and cleaning it then). otherwise, i dont know. YankeesPwnMets
That guy might be using a liquid cooling system, or a straight overclock, where the CPU doesn't lower itself on idle and raises to the max speed when on load... your CPU is probably throttling down to 1Ghz when your not playing to lower core voltage and heat, and throttling itself back up when you play, which raises voltage and produces more heat. Also if your using the sh*tty stock cooler its just like that. As long as its not going over the limit there isn't anything to worry about Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/468095-how-percent-of-temperature-more-should-you-get/#findComment-1060308097 Share on other sites

As long as its not going over the limit there isn't anything to worry about well, i dont think the cooler sucks, my dad knows about that ( i think xD) and it cost like...104 bucks? and the pc is new, not much dust in here and i can see it because the case is transparent Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/468095-how-percent-of-temperature-more-should-you-get/#findComment-1060308123 Share on other sites
mkey82
Are we talking about a GPU or the CPU? If latter is the case, 69°C is a bit too high, it's possible the cooler is clogged or it's not seated properly so it can't work at maximum efficiency. Dud123
wait, i think that i missunderstand the thing we were talking about, i really dont know very much about pc hardware, but if i look at it i can see 6 things rolling, one in the gpu i think(ati), another one in the phenom and 4 more fans, one in the back, one in the front and two in the side, one little and another...i think that the last one is an air extractor because it looks weird, they're all working fine as i can see, what would be the problem? BLKMAG
The person who said their temps raise 3c is a liar, nuff said. What is the temperature you speak of? Is it your CPU temperature or your GPU temperature? mkey82
what would be the problem? You're not sure about what you're talking about but you would like us to tell you what's wrong? If I could do that, I would play the lottery, not post here.
