In Mafia2 you can drive anywhere you want...But not in Mafia. The first Mafia has free-roam, so I guess that counts. Grand Theft Auto clone is a genre of sandbox action adventure video games characterized by their likeness to the Grand Theft Auto series, in which players may find and use a variety of vehicles and weapons while roaming freely in an open world setting. My favorite GTA clone is Mafia 2. You can't choose a GTA game. Mafia 2 is not a gta clone. It's nothing close to gta. (besides GTA) I would say RDR (my favorite game, including gta) Driver, Bully, and Mafia 1&2. LazlowsucksiloveslutS Posted January 27, 2011 Share Posted January 27, 2011 My favorite is Scarface,I actually found it more addictive than San Andreas.Because I'm a Deadwood fan,I often started up Scarface just to hear the dialogue and learn. And I love how the weapons sound in this f*cking game.They don't sound like some f*cking cartoon weapons,they go BOOOM!,even could wake up your neighbor at night (especially if in the blind rage). Very cool side missions too,cage fights,poker,femme fatales and all that. This and GTAIV are without a doubt coolest,stylish,ass-kicking badass games that I've played in my life. I loved Mafia too,but it's free-roam seemed pretty limited to me,I even didn't bother with free roam extreme after completing the story.
