Need Help with Buggy Animation!

It is concerned to different bones rotation with 2 poses which have apparently the same transforms. This is due to GTA bones (dummies) themselves which cannot be used to build up a character's skeleton. A real bone keeps its parent in mind when you try to move it, so it won't never lose the correct transforms. wink.gif

 

They're called bones, but they're just linked dummies! sly.gif

 

Instead of creating animations with SA skeleton, I adapted a biped to CJ's, so that we can create ragdoll animations easily. You can do it by:

  • Following the link on my signature through Endorphin to GTA text link, then download the .rar archive and use the ragdoll skeleton in "biped.max" (3DSMax9 format) as reference for your animations.
  • Transfering animations from SA skeleton to biped and viceversa by using my 3DSMax plug-in I uploaded at GTAGarage.com.
Once you've transferred the original animation, modify it and then re-export it to SA skeleton, of course.
