ELCO
Hello Sorry if this has been posted before, but I dont think its the same problem I am having, and I need a quick reply I am trying to get a Volvo XC90 into GTA IV, and I though that it shouldnt be to hard because there is already one for GTA San Andreas What I have now is SparkIV, Winrar, Zmodeler and TXD workshop. I have the XC90's San Andreas DFF and TXD Files. I have got the png files out of the GTA San Andreas TXD, and I have managed to get the vehicle into Zmodeler, and I am able to export it as a WFT Problem is that when I export it as a WFT and spawn it in game using the trainer, the game just stops working. Can someone please run me through on how I can do this PLEASE Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/467572-gta-iv-importing-vehicles-to-gta-iv/ Share on other sites
UnknownEpidemic
Arent .txd's for textures? WFTs are for Models, not textures, export it as a WTD. ELCO
Zmodeler won't allow me to export it as a WTD... When I click export it gives me the option to save as "GTA IV (WFT, WDR, WDD)", and when I export it always comes out as a WFT It cant be too hard cos loads of other people have succeded in doing it Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/467572-gta-iv-importing-vehicles-to-gta-iv/#findComment-1060297199 Share on other sites

monster875.
WFT r model files, that's why Zmodeler only can export as those 3 files WTD r for textures, u can make a WTD file using G-Texture btw, txd files r for III, VC and SA, NOT IV EDIT: actually, u need to rename ALL parts of the car in Zmodeler and edit materials b4 the car even can show up Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/467572-gta-iv-importing-vehicles-to-gta-iv/#findComment-1060303192 Share on other sites
ELCO
I have managed to get the car to show up in Zmodeler, but when you browse for the WFT it doesnt show the preview on the side... Is there any way to convert TXTs to WTDs, and what must I rename the parts of the car to in Zmodeler? Thank you for replying Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/467572-gta-iv-importing-vehicles-to-gta-iv/#findComment-1060303692 Share on other sites

Thank you for replying i'll convert the car for u. btw, n zmodelers homepage, u can download a example pack and with that u can see what the models shoould be called and such it's not just import the dff file and export as wft. btw, as i said use g-texture for textures Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/467572-gta-iv-importing-vehicles-to-gta-iv/#findComment-1060303791 Share on other sites
