FrodoPL
So here's the thing, I installed Project Oblivion 2010 and its exe. It's all fine but I don't have my 1920x1080 resolution listed in settings, thus I can't play. I found out the only tool which adds custom resolutions: http://hotmist.ddo.jp/plugin/exdisp/index.html But if I install it at all, the game crashes after it finishes loading and going blackscreen... Now if I use original .exe, the game will crash at 75% loading... Windows 7 x64. Claude Speed.
What do you mean you can't play? Can you use that resolution in other games? I think San Andreas goes as high resolution as your video card+monitor supports. Adler
What version is your GTA SA? Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/467335-no-hd-resolution-together-with-project-oblivion/#findComment-1060292805 Share on other sites
heat84
I have version 1.0 of the exe myself and it only goes up to 1600x1200, but my monitor's native resolution 1920 x 1080. Version 1.01 of the exe is supposed be able to do higher resolutions but its fine the way it is for me and I don't think I would notice the difference. So the OP just has to install the latest GTA:SA patch and their problem should be solved. Unless the mod doesn't support the newer versions(I think theres' a 1.02 as well) of the exe. I don't know what this means(something is lost in translation I suspect), but maybe its why the Display Settings Extender doesn't work for the op?: *2 If you using display which has not square pixels, this option will not work correctly.
