Chinatown Wars
I f*cking love the virtual console on the 3ds. I remember playing super Mario land on the gb a looong time ago before I gave both away. Now I just bought it from the 3ds store and much nostalgia has hit me. Mainland Marauder
I f*cking love the virtual console on the 3ds. I remember playing super Mario land on the gb a looong time ago before I gave both away. Now I just bought it from the 3ds store and much nostalgia has hit me. Still have the SML cartridge I got with my first Game Boy when it first came out. Now the old GB is long gone but I have a different one, the pocket one that only takes two AAA's. I played through Mario not too long ago and pull that out to play Tetris every once in awhile. Tetris just isn't the same without that Game Boy music. Slamman
I avoided those, but back in the day, still had pawn shop access ... I bought LG's version of the Panasonic 3DO and that was a nice as heck system, because I just picked up the top loading Panasonic R*E*A*L* 3DO the other week, and it works but lacks controller and now my games are long gone too, but boy... DOES NOT look like a 600 dollar system at all! hahaha Oh, I mentioned it, well, I'd been looking for things like my PS3 accessories and the 3DO around here, I think they all have gone though, not finding anything. The LG version looked like they spared no expense on the future of 3DO taking off. I'm still not sure what games to get again, I sold a lot of stuff to one buyer on Craigslist. If you're looking and selling, you will get a response from old school gamers, that I noted! Edited August 25, 2011 by Slamman

Mister Pink
Recently bought a NES and a SNES with a small library of games, I am slowly drowning in retro games, and loving it! Nice... What games did you get for it? Recently been downloading some demos from the Xbox Live Classics section. Echo The Dolphin, used to play that as a kid. What an unusual game. If a game was like that now, what would you even compare it to? Also been playing Streets Of Rage II demo. Damn I need some cash monies to unlock these games. Raptomex
I actually just got an original Xbox for $20 last Saturday. Works great. It is a behemoth compared to the 360 and the slim. I have my PS3, 360, Xbox, and Wii hooked up. Had to disconnect my PS2 and N64 to make room, lol. I never had an original Xbox so I didn't realize it was such a beast. Slamman
I got mine for $7 from the same Goodwill that tried to sell them for $40 or so, all depends on the pricer working the GW! haha, still, much, much harder to find this missing 3DO game controller I still need. the Panasonic REAL version I'm sure is different then the Goldstar / LG version. Still, hoping to keep it around, since I scored it for so little. SADLY, mentioned before, sold all those old games but my Sega and Apple stuff, I had a few Atari 2600s for the Coleco Gemini system, that one is a better console then the Atari for the controllers I felt
Fireman
I've been using my SNES again lately, we have one of those Wild Car Boxes, which are just f*cking awesome. mattf1sh97
i still have mine but its in tha attic if you still have yours post your games (pics if possible) and some of my games are basically antiques like metal gear solid 1 costs £79.99 on amazon brand new and crash banicoot 3 warped costs £99.99 new
AreXi
£99,99 for Crash Bandicoot 3 is ridiculous, considering the game sucked. You can also get MGS1 for way less than that, even though it's totally worth it. On the topic of cost of PS1 games, about two months ago I bought Resident Evil 2 for 20€. The case had a small crack but the disc's are okay.
mattf1sh97
when i get the playstation down from the attic (may take a few weeks) I will put a few vids on you tube @arexi i know crash bandicoot 3 sucked but apparently both of the games mgs and crash are quite rare
Fireman
I got mine in my room, I use it more often than my PS2... for no reason I spose. I play Jade Cocoon a lot, the best PSX game ever made.

SIKKS66
Yeah mines still on my TV stand though not plugged in. PS1 game prices are still pretty crazy, especially for legendary games such as MGS and the Final Fantasy ones. If you find them in Game stores they can still fetch up to £20-30, preowned. Cause they know people love them games.
Chinatown Wars
Are you sure it's warped that's rare? I have five copies. Fireman
Spyro 3, f*cking ace. I got a ton of games upstairs, but I usually forget about most. THPS 1-4 Crash Bash (the only Bandicoot game I ever played) Spyro 1-3 Carmageddon Xena: Warrior Princess Shadowman (f*cking worst game ever) Jade Cocoon (f*cking best game ever) GTA 2 (of course) Tekken 3 Are the ones that I've played a lot... Slamman
Depends, because it's in the eye's of the user, the collector, the software base, who owns what. This 3DO is second generation Panasonic without a controller, the hardware is top-loading tray, like the later PS2 slim
Icarus
Goldeneye for Nintendo 64 is easily my favourite retro game. For something that was so simple, it was a lot of fun since there were enough maps (albeit small) and there were so many different game modes that you could play (automatic weapons, lasers, slappers only if you felt like it, golden gun) it never really got boring. For some reason, my favourite gameplay was proximity mines in the Complex - never got tired of that. My friend still owns a Nintendo 64 so whenever I go home, Lithium and I usually go to her place to play Goldeneye. On the subject of N64, I also loved Super Mario 64 - 'twas a fun game.
