Brown Sugar
Yesterday I was on my pc and suddenly windows blue screen came up saying it needed to shut down to avoid data corruption but now whenever I try to turn on my pc I just keep getting the blue screen and my pc restarts itself. I've noticed that it seems to be an issue with my drivers but I can't update them since I can only start my pc on safe mode which doesn't allow me to dovery much. If anyone could help with this problem I would appreciate it very much. dog_day_sunrise
If it will run in safe mode, but not standard, you need to boot it in safe, back up your data and reformat. Stinky12
Disable automatic restart on system failure to see what is actually causing the blue screen. Brown Sugar
Disable automatic restart on system failure to see what is actually causing the blue screen. I have done that and it just said it could possibly be becaue of some new hardware installation although i haven't installed any new hardware for a while. I will try dog_day_sunrise's suggestion though, it should work. Stinky12
If you get into safemode, you can opt to try system restore first before reformatting. Check event viewer to see what Windows has picked up. Brown Sugar
that seems to have worked, although I removed a few unnecessary programs just to be sure, thank you both. Wolf68k
In the future tells us what version of Windows and more about what the blue screen said, like what the STOP number was at so on would have helped better. It would give us an idea on how to better help you and give you an idea of what possible driver is causing the issue.
