GTA San Andreas: Beta Sounds

Welcome to a mod, which i started exactly 3 ... or 4 months before smile.gif

It's a must have for every GTA Beta "fanatics", like me... lol.gif

While i was exploring the "GENRL" audio files with Alci's SAAT sound extract tool, i found some sounds, which aren't used in GTA San Andreas (now).

I found and replaced sounds, like:

Beta Bike sounds, Beta Muscle Car sounds, Beta Truck/Bus sounds, And much more!

I search for more sounds in other archives, until the mod process is "finished", so please be patient for a while.

If someone, who's working on a GTA San Andreas beta Total Conversation mod, and want's my sound pack, he can use this mod of course. But he should inform (pm) me before using the files and do not forget credits like: "TheD199434 - Beta Sounds"

FOR DOWNLOAD, YOU NEED ALL PREVIOUS VERSIONS, BESIDES ALL THE UPDATES, OF IT, ESPECIALLY THE BASIC, THE VERY FIRST VERSION!

All you need is following:

((If you don't like risks, backup your whole GTASA folder!))

First of all, you need this:

http://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=5777

(be careful with this tool and it's not my fault, if your GTASA gets deleted!)

Then download (ofc) this/my mod to your mod folder or whatever.

Extract Alci's sound tool (best is, you extract the folder into SA folder)

Run the .exe of Alci's sound tool. (if you got problems to start it up, dont worry, just double click then on a file there called "vcredistx86" or something and install it and start again)

Set your SA directory and your Working dircetory (best is, you set the working directory into Alci's Sound tool folder!)

You will see a list in the left witht he sound files, double click on "GENRL" and wait some time. (dont close it!)

After it's done extracting, you will see in your "Working Directory" a file called "GENRL". Replace the folder, with the folder in my mod included.

After done, SAVE it with the Alci's sound tool and wait a second and never try to click "abort" tounge.gif.

Done, start up GTA San Andreas and have fun at listening to the beta sounds.

It would be more stable when these vehicle sounds will be replaced via memory hacking (via CLEO) - no sound bugs, etc.

However, it's still nice smile.gif

Thx.

This method could help for some users, IF they got bugs with audio's in GTASA smile.gif

I tested the sounds on my GTASA, even while rainy weather (btw i use us v1.00 .exe), and so far i had no bugs, because they are orginal SA sounds, which shouldnt make much difference at size and kbps's and such biggrin.gif

Some vehicle audios from beta were'nt like now the used one.

For example the used are like:

"sound_001=IncreaseSpeed; sound_002=ConstantSpeed; sound_003=DecreaseSpeed"

Some of Beta banks got sound_001 and sound_002 "swapped" which gave me some problems at the mod before releasing lol.gif

I hate when people post UNNECICERY information about the beta, which 50% of it is just rumors.

Yea, dito!

Copying a 50cm long text is... spam.

If a admin see that "spam post" above, please cut it off or whatever, it's stealing much place here dozingoff.gif

Updates to my Beta Sounds coming soon, maybe in march. I gonna find time. I will finally update Barber beta Sounds (Sciccors). I don't really know that it's beta, i could rename my mod to "Unused Sounds Mod" (sounds strange) but the current name is more interesting (and more logic) biggrin.gif

Can someone post more videos? This is really interesting, and I don't care if I'm commenting 3 years after the original post. I want to see the mod in action!

Is there any other audio tools for Gta SA? It's quite hard to use Alci's Audio tool.

There are no other tools.
