importing saves from XP to win7

hi again. as i've said in a couple of threads already - i have moved from win XP into win7.

i have kept my saves for GTAIV from XP and now i want to import them into my new installation in win7.

 

when i looked at my rockstar games folder in win7 i saw a GTAIV foldder but it ddidnt have any saves directory. i expected such a directory to exist since i already made 3 saves with a new game (i did it so i can find my saves files so i will be able to copy my old XP saves on top of them) but i cant find such a directory in win7.

i also couldnt find any other reockstar games folder on my new win7 OS.

 

so a few questions -

 

1) where shouldd i put my old XP saves to get them to work and have my saved games from XP in my fresh win7 installation? i hope it's possible....

 

2) my old XP saves were created in a profile called "adar1" but in my fresh installation i dont have such a profile (in GFWL). will that be a problem? or can i just import saves from my XP version into a different folder and it'll work?

That's because in Windows 7, the savegames are located here - C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames

 

In case your previous savefiles don't load, you can always use Xliveless to load them.
