I already tought that DYOM# was a great addon, but then I discovered some useful hotkeys that would solve a lot of my problems with designing! I never felt more satisfied!

I guess we can all agree that DYOM# was the best thing that happened in modern DYOM history.

@SIZZZ , I salute you!

I cannot agree with you more, Stardust! DYOM# is truly a designer's best friend. It made Epilogue and The Fort (2021) possible!

Hi there,

It's been a quite while since I created my last mission. (I used to be a Gang War Mission Designer at times :D) DYOM is always a FUN ride for me since 2013, and I always enjoy being around here with you guys. But now time has changed too much my Job makes me so busy, I really wanted to get in touch with this community.

So maybe later on this month I'll share my new mission with you guys, I try my best to make it enjoyable.

Have a Wonderful Day

Much Love! :)

Hello everyone! I am proud to announce that I've made a mission for the Target13 Universe! Here's the link for it: https://dyom.gtagames.nl/show/68561

I designed the mission while Target13 created the logos.

Hope you guys like it!

Legends are a new section of missions set in the Target13 Universe but designed by players such as yourself. Legends allow for the expansion of the T13U and the inclusion of new creative visions. Do not like the direction the designer took? No problem, it is up to you whether Legends are canon or not, and they will not be explicitly mentioned in the main canon series. The very first entry to Legends is by the talented up and coming designer @Stardust101 who designed an entry to the Panthers series titled 'Los Desperados', which follows a team of Panthers mercenaries sent to deal with a terrorist group taking advantage of the power vacuum left behind by the Peace Circle.

Anyone can design an entry to Legends, just contact me through private message to discuss your idea. I will give you tips and suggestions to help fit your story within the T13U but will not limit your creativity and allow the mission style to be truly yours. Legends are presented in the T13U thread along with credits to the designer.

I'd want to say the same but different subject to you :)

Spoiler

Personally to say? I sorta miss the old days back in 2015 since I joined the DYOM communty. I admit to myself that I'm pretty arrogant and selfish as I design any unpredictable missions, but I was appreciative for the community people giving me a lot of judgements how can I improve myself and all of my works, including the greatest designer "@Heisenberg_GR", all of his works he did completely inspired me a lot and even helps me proving all my flaws what I've done? The risks are too much on me but I accepted them as my honor and punishment. But yeah? TIme's ticking and changing rapidly, its over now 🥺 😢. All I can think of going back here feels nostalgic and emotionally drained. For now, my life will not be the same as the old days right now. Got myself a serious issues for studying and doing part-time jobs. I wish the community will still active enough on any future days.

I wish you the best luck in your life my friend. And I also have something to say about me.

Spoiler

I'd like to apologize all for being so arrogant in this period, I admit now: I am not sure to get what I want on this community, besides, I have been pretty much arrogant almost with everyone on discord. Like @Polski Oski- @zekoand the other ones. But I just wanted to get some attention to Codename Q4 Biohazard, like when THBP or Target13 gets attention with their MPs from the other designers. I was appreciative for the community people giving me a lot of judgments how to improve my english and the rest of Codename Q4. I still feel bad for this thing. I still apologize for the inconvenience.

Well It's pretty unfortunate, including me :(. We did our best to impress most of the designers here? Too bad we didn't get that much pressure and let them down? But it's perfectly fine, as the matter of fact? Your work will completely change yourself sometimes as you grew up depends how you progress? Not to be mention on Discord? Most people out there show childish behavior and are more relatively abusive or biased which may leads to a verbal conversation. Glad that I didn't get involved on them?

Nearly six years ago the Target13 Universe was brought into existence by the release of The Fort. Now the classic mission-pack is receiving a remaster that aims to not only bring it up to the quality of its successors, but to exceed them by making it the most interactive, detailed, and fun experience in the Target13 Universe to date.

Spoiler

A story rewritten

JclzisF.png

The Fort’s main plot underwent numerous minor changes while the dialogue has been completely rewritten from the ground up. Extra attention was paid to making characters feel varied and fresh. Everyone from Bobby Big to Carl Pierce sounds more realistic and natural. Interactions in The Fort: Buck-L-Up, Cowboys: The Tale of Betty Shore and more, were used as a reference to portray how these characters would behave towards each other at this point in the timeline. Other components of the story were edited to better fit in the overall universe and to make The Fort consistent with its successors.

With some of the changes being significant, this version of The Fort supersedes the original as canon in the Target13 Universe. The original mission pack, released in 2015, will still be available to download but will be dropped from the T13U upon the remaster’s release.

An immersive Fort Carson

TdlyDYt.png

Thanks to DYOM# and its expanded objects feature, Fort Carson is more detailed than ever. Almost every location Bobby and his crew visit feels real and immersive. Locations are given their own names, sense of style and people. Bobby will encounter construction workers doing their jobs, police officers giving speeding drivers a ticket, and Panthers standing guard. Locations will evolve to reflect the story's progression. Significant time and attention was paid to make these additions feels immersive and consistent from mission to mission. Besides being immersive, the new set dressing also serves as a means for Bobby to strategically navigate the battlefield. As enemies are now stronger and more widespread, these objects will help Bobby by providing cover. Keep in mind however, that goes both ways.

Extended and updated missions

yQtHbBu.png

Almost all The Fort’s twelve missions have been extended to some degree. The missions feature extra detailed cutscenes featuring new characters, additional enemies to fight and objectives to complete. Also, at least one mission has received a completely new section of gameplay which includes new dialogue and combat instances, significantly increasing its length. These extensions were carefully designed so that they do not feel redundant and contribute to the overall experience without being empty filler.

Improved challenge and gameplay

fO4IlYs.png

The mission-pack is now less forgiving than the original but still provides a fair experience. Bobby is no longer provided with an arsenal from the start of the mission, and instead must keep an eye out for strategically placed weapons, health and armor around the environment or steal what his enemies drop. The Panthers’ crackdown on the town’s weapons is real and therefore whatever ammo Bobby finds will still be limited, so it is advised to tread carefully when taking on the mercenaries.

Tiered enemies

DAhAkO1.png

The Panthers are now a formidable and more tactical force. Bobby will encounter more varied types of Panthers. Ranging from Patrollers who carry lower tier weapons and enforce the curfew upon citizens, to the Specialists who have increased armor and carry higher tier weapons and are deployed to deal with high level threats. There are at least five tiers of Panthers, all of whom have their own set of weapons, stats, and armor. Bobby will encounter them based on the type of mission he is on. Being out past curfew will pit him against mere Patrollers but stealing a tank will force him to face the extremely dangerous Specialists.

Hidden weapon caches

OhmYJgb.png

Curiosity kills cats; Panthers to be more specific. Make Bobby scour the battlefield and he may just find one of the Panthers’ hidden weapon caches. Finding one of these is a jackpot that will provide Bobby with a minigun and unlimited ammo to easily mow down the unwelcome hostiles. These hidden weapon caches are placed so that they require some snooping to find and do not ruin the challenge for players who wanted to handle the Panthers more conventionally.

Count your kills

e0eqkDW.png

For the first ever in the T13U, The Fort features an interactive system outside of the game. Each mission features a password-protected zip file that contains a collectible item. Bobby can unlock these collectibles by counting the number of enemies he must kill to complete the mission. This number is the password to the zip file. These collectibles range from cool little items Bobby picked up during his mission, to things that provide an insight into Bobby’s life.

Stay tuned for loads more information and teasers in the coming weeks! While you wait, why not try the classic version of The Fort to be able to spot the major differences after release. Also, try the prequel The Fort: Buck-L-Up to get caught up to Bobby and Buck's story.

To experience this remaster the way it is meant to be, consider downloading Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – Definitive Edition.

Hello everyone! Remember when I said I had learned how to make skins in GTA SA? Since then I've been experimenting a lot!

Today I've modified 2 skins by changing their skin colors and changing the face textures! Here are the pictures:

gallery1.jpg

ID: 121.

gallery2.jpg

ID: 58.

I'm pretty happy with the results! Tell me what you think!

We all know that San Andreas has a limited amount of skins we can use, but you know what they say: Limitations force people to be creative!
