@Target13 Excellent news article Target, it serves well in painting the events of Cowboys TTOBS from an external point of view while also doing a hilarious job of parodying some real life events and trends (#NotJustHer is a good variation of #MeToo). Not just that, the article is structured neatly and exactly as real life articles would be, therefore providing the illusion that this is a realistic article in a realistically constructed universe. Great work, a post of freshness that this forum has been needing for a while now, as well as a solid start to Target’s DYOM year. Still waiting for your Cowboys sequel!

Hey what's up guys! I'm just gonna share my dyom mission with you if it's the right place. Hope you enjoy it!

 

 

YEAR 2032

 

Most population of Northern America grouped as freedom fighters after the collapse of the United States.
It's oppressors are vowing to take control of all US superweapons left.

Two elite soldiers, brothers by blood other than battlefield fought many years against a totalitarian state.

Bolt - an elite soldier choosen to execute an important military operation alongside his commando brother - wants to destroy the regime's satellite destructive weapon.

His brother convinces him to steal it instead and boost their strength. As Bolt and his brother Rage often disagree, Bolt secretly arms the weapon with bomb devices in case their mission fails. Furtively, Rage is luring him into a trap after already strucking a deal with the "Empire".

Rage is apparently shot down by the enemy Commander. Remaining trapped and unware of his sibling's plan, Bolt has no choice but to detonate the bomb, leaving his brother's 'dead' body behind. Next time they will meet it will be on the opposite sides of battle.
