Hi guys. Today, after quite a while, I have something special to share with you. Not really new, but special nonetheless. I have been postponing this for years due to numerous reasons, whether it was lack of time, resources or will to do it the right way… but finally, it's here, almost 5 years too late. It was about time because it deserved it.

 

I present to you, the official Edge of High Life trailer. Hope you guys like it. Those who have never played it might decide to play it after watching the trailer, who knows?

@Jimmy_Leppard That is really one amazing trailer! It showcases the vast variety of gameplay elements used by the mission pack while also demonstrating your natural cinematic touch through the usage of specific elements such as cutscene angles. I also loved how you had that little scene after the title reveal late in the trailer, since it is something that Hollywood does too in its trailers .

 

This MP was one of my greatest experiences in DYOM and definitely a huge inspiration for me in my own projects. Now that I've seen the trailer, maybe I'll go back and revisit it if I have the time.

Also, for those who noticed that I was away for quite a long period without any updates about my MP, which is quite unlike how I usually am, I want to mention that I recently just went through a difficult month (not giving too much detail here since it's personal) but now I am officially back! I am going to attempt to participate in one or two MOTWs in order to ease back into the flow of designing, and then sooner or later my MP  will be resumed. In the meantime, feel free to download and play the first two episodes! You can visit the topic by clicking the Old Friends Die Hard logo in this paragraph.

 

Also, just a reminder that Old Friends Die Hard is part of the same universe as my previous MP What Pain Means, only that they take place in different times. OFDH takes place 13 years after the events of WPM and will have references to WPM. In fact, the second episode (Homecoming Part 1 and 2) already has a very subtle reference to WPM, and if you notice it, good job.

The complete remake of the mission " Repossession "

STORY: 
Franklin and his friend Lamar are tasked by Simeon to recover a motorbike sold to a gang member who refused to pay. The two make their way to a desolate back alley right next door to Vespucci Beach where Jimenez lives, and search for the bike in a few lockup garages, before Lamar starts a gunfight with the owner's friends, the Vagos. 

A car enters the compound and crashes, leaking fuel, prompting Franklin to shoot the spillage, setting the vehicle ablaze. Jimenez escapes on the bike, and Franklin and Lamar follow him in pursuit. After Franklin kills him, the duo splits up, Franklin takes the bike, and meets with Lamar at the Car Wash in Innocence Boulevard, Strawberry. But in the words of Franklin "You can't repo the assets of a dead man" – so Lamar keeps the bike for himself, knowing that the repossession is now meaningless, only for the bike to become one of Franklin's personal vehicles afterwards.
