Easier said than done. The aftermath of a couple messages I've sent seem very catastrophic to some people. Like, I don't even be here that much, and certain, frankly short-sighted individuals are imagining I'm the new Zeus just by banding together some friends to plainly discuss gaming in a private Discord server. It's a depressing world we live in, isn't it.

YES!!! I got 0 score, that was my best try for now! It's annoying that everything is based on MOTW, what if someone don't like or don't have time to participate in MOTW? He won't get score? At least one of the moderators of the forum can check the mission showroom for any grand MPs/SLs and give the designer some scores. Am I right or as always, as always wrong?

I'll be responsible for counting points of missions and SLs after half of the year, so don't worry, it will still be counted. Btw I should say this, only missions in which data like objectives, actors etc is visible in the website will be counted. So if you're used to post missions in .zip file at the website, they won't be counted or will have min. pontuation.

So I want to make an announcement before actually making the announcement or thread because I have lot of preparing to do before I consider it, and even to see how much you guys would actually like this idea, but first Ill say this:

 

Ill be making a comeback on DYOM. Its been years since I actually did anything on here, and this was one of the places that spiraled lot of my creativity from storytelling, mission design, and filmmaking. At the moment I dont have plans for any BIG storyline, but may go back and remaster one of my older ones or actually finish it. Just update it with the latest version, fix bugs and stuff.

 

Recently been getting into filmmaking, Ive done GTA Machinima for a bit and am even writing one of my DYOM stories into a chapter book on a storytelling app.

 

Now here is where it involves the DYOM community, for those who know I used to do a lot of commentary videos playing some of your missions. Ill be making a return to that in the upcoming weeks, however I have something bigger Id like to try.

 

How would you guys like it, if one of your storylines or mission packs were turned into a Machinima for viewing on YouTube? Instead of it just being a commentary, it would be cinematically edited (maybe voice acting) and made like a web series.

 

The way it would work is I would take limited requests on popular MPs or Storylines that would be cool to make into a web series with credit given to the mission designers.

 

Since editing would take lot of time, thats why it would be limited requests.

 

Let me know what you guys think. In the mean time, Ill be posting some of my older commentaries on my new YouTube channel here:
